Now that I know the release date I don't want to play the beta any more, I was unlucky enough to not have ever received one.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Fortunately I am moving to 1st shift but I don't know what my schedule will be like around that time, either way I am getting it at midnight and playing for a couple days straight.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

This build I envision as being just a quick get in and get out. The coolest combo for a Demon Hunter I think!

I don't really see this as a problem. As a melee character you will probably be getting hit quite often, so when slain monsters drop health globes they will already be fairly close and you wouldn't even have to think about picking up globes. I have not played at all so I couldn't judge completely but the way I see it as a melee hitter the more globes drop you won't have to move around much and just keep on going. I see this as more of a how often do they drop problem.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

If you go into battle with a knife but this particular monster you need an axe to kill it with, there is your punishment. First, you will have to figure out "oh crap, I need an axe" You can either A run away and swap your weapon or B try and stay and fight with what you have. Diablo is much a situational game, maybe not so much for the bosses but just random monsters you never know what is gunna be paired together. With the current skill cooldown system you may come across situations where a different skill would be ideal. So to change it is a small punishment, however it certainly can change the tide of battle.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

My first Diablo 2 character was a Barbarian named Dyonysys after the greek god for partying basically. I actually did fairly well with him got him to the upper 80s but of course when I first started playing Diablo it had been out for awhile and my brthers had been playing so I had some help with point allocation.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Yeah, poor attempt to make the people forget about the Q2 release. But I like it, at least it's not a wallpaper!

This isn't going to be something they are proud of before the game comes out, realize that casuals don't like dieing, then make it easier right :(?
Yeah my thoughts exactly! I guess we don't know the exact difficulty that was played in that vid...if that was Inferno or even later on in Hell, it's fine, but if that was Nightmare or even early Hell, casual gamers will cry...they'll die like constantly in the second difficulty and that's definitely not catering for the large crowd of casual gamers, they'll die and complain.
They have stated before that most people or the casual players won't even play past normal
