According to Xfire I've played 88 hours since release.
This kind of thing can't be blamed on a game, it can only be blamed on a persons lifestyle. I'm almost certain he must have had other health issues.
At least he died doing something he loved, one can only hope they are this lucky.

I bet 90% of people aren't stupid enough to do something like that.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from JefeMaybe it is, maybe it isn't. Most reports from people I've seen suggest that their computer's security is good so either they are lying/mistaken or there is a flaw in Blizzards security that allows for MitM-type exploits to happen
I think it's wrong to jump to conclusions and blame either party. There is obviously something gonig wrong somewhere when you consider the huge amount of people that have had security problems.
Either way there's no point blaming anyone till the cause has been found.

No offense but that's incredibly ignorant. You have no idea about every persond personally security or their internet usage. To just straight away blame it on the user is idiotic at best.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from JefeDid you play in any public games?
Yes, most of my game time was spent in public games.
I know there is a rumour going around suggesting that there is a security issue on Blizzards end but yet again I refuse to believe that.
I would be severely disappointed if this was the case, not only would it mean they were to blame for me getting hacked and my account being compromised but they would also be responsible for the 24 hours worth of game play that I lost.

I got hacked, all my stuff from my level 60 was taken and all of my gold too.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I called Blizzard and they restored my character from about 24 hours before I actually got hacked so I still lost a lot of stuff anyway.
I honestly don't have a clue how I got hacked, the ONLY thing I have installed on this computer is Diablo 3 and Google Chrome, I formatted the same day the game was released.
I only play at home and my computer is very secure, I use a very secure password and I never visit any potentially dangerous websites, unless of course you consider Diablo Fans and Facebook dangerous. I never download anything illegal and NO ONE knows my passwords or ever have.
I have never bought gold from any dodgy websites and I have never bought any items either. I am a very careful person when surfing the internet and would consider myself very good with computers.
I think a lot of people who get hacked are genuinely stupid but in this case I really can't see any way I would have had my account compromised.
Needless to say I have now attached an authenticator but I'm still absolutely baffled as to how I got hacked, it simply doesn't make sense to me.

So far I'm leaning towards the Wizard but it's pretty hard to say, possibly the Demon Hunter.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from OnlineSlugenLol WD's with more survivability!? In my inferno party the WD and DH are doing just fine, just kite and shoot? I think all classes feels like they are weak atm but hey, it haven't been a week yet. You are supposed to farm gear and become better, not get patched better.
Anyways when someone link items in the chat there should be stats changes being shown as if you had it in your inventory. Some kind of clan support with a shared clan stash and chat.
Playing with a group in inferno is somewhat different to playing solo. When your pets die and they're your only line of defense you're screwed.

I actually agree. The Witch Doctor was my first class to 60 and I felt as the class is lacking slightly.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
There were times in the game when my pets were fine and lasted for a long time but later in the acts or when going up to a new difficulty they started dying instantly. I'd really like to know specifically how pets scale with gear. I've actually stopped playing my Witch Doctor now because I don't want to start farming gear for him until I know exactly what I need.
There are also quite a lot of spells that I feel really don't suit the playstyle of a ranged class too. Maybe Witch Doctor just wasn't the right class for me to choose first.
In any case though, I started a Wizard last night, already up to level 35 on Nightmare and it absolutely DEMOLISHES everything with absolutely no effort at all and has incredible survivability. Time will tell I suppose, Nightmare is still quite easy so maybe I will run into similar issues when I get to hell.
