May 19, 2012Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from Molsterbtw, bosses arnt dropping all the extra gear just due to the MF from the NV, it has another side effect that a lot of people dont know.

They will drop gear as good as champions and elites with this buff (because you have to kill champions and elites to get it, which was the point). With the buff active you’re guaranteed one extra item drop from the boss, and it’s likely that it’ll be 1 item per stack of the buff. Up to X stacks. We don’t know how many it’ll be, probably a handful.
We got to ask bashiok some questions awhile ago about the NV...
so regardless of what your MF is, for each stack, your gonna get another items, (and due to the buff, these items can now also be as good as the items from elites)
Thats true i totally forgot to mention that, it's very early for me, sorry
May 19, 2012Spoiler in the Video, if you haven't played through normal yet, don't watch it.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Alot of people are complaining at the moment, that bosses won't drop yellow items after completing the game on normal.
Yesterday a few friends and i tried out the Nephalem Valor Buff, we stacked it up to 5 times and then killed the butcher. For me he dropped 3 yellows and 5 blues a friend even got 4 yellows.
I did a quick Video Preview on Normal for the Buff so you see how good your loot can be in a single player game.
Remember: The more poeple got the Buff, the better is the chance for a magic item to drop, this was done alone so if you're playing with 4 ppl and all got the Buff the chance will be much higher.
The Buff also gives you more loot from a boss kill, guaranteed and seperate from magic find.
This was done on Normal for demonstration purposes, you'll gain the Buff from any Champion Pack or Named enemy on any difficulty when you're level 60.
May 18, 2012First of all, watch out Spoilers ahead if you havent finished Act 3, yet.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Yesterday i finally reached level 60 and the last 2 levels were the most fun because they didn't took very long. How we did it? Not really a secret but a neat little way.
We started in Hell Act 3 on the last Quest to Kill Azmodan And then...
Basically thats Xp for 2 Bosses:
1. For the Quest to kill Azmodan (105k) and
2. For the "Event" Adrias betrayal thereafter you also gain FULL XP (105k) without even fighting.
Thats 210k XP for killing 1 Boss, thats about 20 runs from 58 to 60
One complete run takes about 4minutes.
Just wanted to share it because i think it's awesome
Happy slayin guys
Mar 21, 2012Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from BorQuote from VaenrorThe will be my first CE I'm going to buy.
Quote from NinjafezI'm in a dilemma - I've got the wow annual pass, so I'm actually getting D3 for free - but I usually end up buying the collectors edition anyway.
I've got wow annual pass too, and I'm buying CE You get 4 months of wow for your 12-month commitment, so you save some on wow sub. Not only that, you can play the game when servers go up with your annual pass, and then upgrade to CE when you get it (if you for example pre-ordered from an internet store) so win-win
I wonder how many people are in the same situation, because that is my case too
Mar 15, 2012Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from DoezQuote from LordRaykenHe -IS- hacking.
That's a Mooege server, those guys are reverse engineering the game as we speak.
So people mocking him saying "I like how he thinks hes hacking, lololol" ... They are manipulating game code to do this.
How do you think DFans has shown us early preview of skills? I bet all those were submitted by SephirothHacker420DrugsRCoolLolOlolOl right? Reverse engineering, LOL. That's something the Japs have done with American cars back in the day. Hacking a beta client is not reverse engineering.
If you have no idea what you are talking about, just stay calm and quiet pls.
Reverse engineering does not only exist in "engineering" but also in EDP/IT regaining source code etc.
The guys from mooege started it right after the beta was released and they have come far by now, how far exactly is a good question as single entities play around with the code themself, thats why it's released on github.
