1000 testers is absolutely nothing if you're looking at an infrastructure that more than likely needs to be able to support at least 1-2 million customers. We can safely assume based on Blizzards track record that the game will hit 1 million copies sold - so even if only 10% of the people who own the game are online at any given time (a reasonable number based on mmo statistics) you end up with a constant minimum server load of a 100.000 people. So let's say betatesters are a more zealous bunch and 50% of them are online at any given time - those 1000 keys would come up to about .5% of the minimum expected server load. Even if as a stress test Blizzard wants to reach 10% of this minimum server load assumption they will need at least 20x as many players - and keep in mind that these numbers are very conservative - imo the beta won't be a small scale thing either.
1000 people is more than you'll see in your daily life, think about it.
is definitely my first class choice because of the playstyle.

Ya I kind of figured they would take less of a cut which in the end will give you more outcome in your auction but there will have to be a huge cut in real money auctions so that e-balance will actually be worth taking instead.

Oh so I can sell a in-game item for a e-balance but why not sell for real money instead and just use that real money for everything that the e-balance can but more?

Awesome stuff Sixen and the team this is great stuff alot to read and I don't mind the RWT auction house because a game i'll play for a while will allow me to get some money for my time played doesn't sound bad at all.
I just don't want money to take over the gold auction house and no one sells anything good on there, that would be horrible for people who don't have alot of money.

Since it is PST it's still 4 hours and 15 minutes away and not 30 or so minutes, that's what I was saying in my post.
He was obviously thinking EST and everyone has the ability to think outside of there own because of google.
