Do you guys endorse powerleveling? Generally I like getting my Season characters to 70 ASAP, wherein I do play the game like a normal person.

Or is that too much of an exploit? I'm really not familiar with D3's communities consensus on these kinds of matters.

We don't shun power leveling. I wouldn't recommend joining the clan day one and start spamming for PLs. But if someone offers one try and get on that. I highly recommend Dfans as a clan. Even towards the end of a season when membership drops still has people online.
Yea it's not something I spam, usually a "once a day" type thing. Took me three days to find a powerlevel for my Crusader.
I will consider joining, but the activity booting is a bit of a deterrent.

    Roll demon hunter.

    #DHMasterRace.

I'm joking. Some good tips here, and google might help as well. I often search "Tips and Tricks for [Game I just bought]".

I will add: Adventure mode offers a lot. The Story mode is great to play through but it gets stale. Meanwhile, D3's Reaper of Souls has more of an endgame than most MMO's on the market. Rifts are great for leveling.

My roadblock is probably what you'd expect: The conquests. They seem fairly impossible. I tried doing an all-legendary run on GR45 but basically did no damage to anything. My damage relies on my set bonuses. The 50mil gold requires specific legendaries too and was told that you'd have to basically "Never stop killing" enemies.
The only one that looks vaguely in my reach is the Act 1-5 in an hour but even a recent thread kind of notes how hard it sounds.

I'm just worried. Is this the end of my journey? What's the easiest conquest to work towards?

I inevitably join groups though so I need to look into Shadow Coil a bit more.

Perhaps... whichever set I get first? :P

So I guess going Marauders again won't be ideal? Too bad, it agrees with my "Run the hell away from massive groups of mobs" playstyle.

But hey, if I can... I'll carry two sets of things around.

posted a message on Why do *you* love Diablo?

I admit my foolish lizard brain falls prey to the Skinner Box style of gaming. Probably why I enjoy Idle games (An actual, real guilty pleasure of mine. I feel like I should NOT like those games as much as I do), I like seeing big numbers go up.

D3 is also one of the few games I have some relative skill at. I'm garbage at things like LoL and my skill level on competitive shooters like Call of Duty depends on a multitude of variables. I'm bad when I first wake up, and I lose morale quickly when the other team is far superior to my own, which in turn, lowers my personal will to win the match.
Meanwhile on D3, I hopped on Torment X as soon as I hit Paragon 250 and... I do fine. Helps that I'm a ranged escape artist so I jump out of AoE's and generally keep the hell away from large elite mob groups but otherwise - I don't die every three seconds and thus, not a burden to the team.

posted a message on Set Dungeons - Demon Hunter - Builds and Videos

I run Marauders and I got everything - except for the final objective that involves throwing up 40 more enemies after I finished the thing within the time limit. It's rough.

I've only done two tries (The first was a colossal failure) so maybe it's just a matter of practice.

posted a message on Marauder question

I know everyone wants impale DH's these days (I'll work on getting the set, got 3 pieces so far) but until then, I enjoy Marauders because it suits my "Stay the hell away from enemies" playstyle.

My question is very simple. The set allows for all pets to be active (And my build utilizes that one skill that ups their damage). I am wondering, however, id they have life bars of their own and if they die. If so, do they respawn? I can't really tell when playing on Torment X and I'm just seeing a flurry of particle effects, after of which I usually see my full group of pets following me around.
