Well, good to know I wasn't hallucinating those effects, but damn I was really looking forward to those added bonuses.

but those passive.. traits? skills? whatever really made them interesting, sorta like a trinket that gave you bonuses (to +gold or mf or rare items or whatever) that even if you didn't find them useful combat-wise they added something to the table.. bummer.

I forgot where I've seen it but wasn't there something along the lines of followers having traits or abilities that added passives or what not, like the scoundrel adding the % chance to find more items or gold and the enchantress increases MF or something like that? I forgot the details but looking at the skill calculator that they just added and I see nothing relating to that... Are they still implementing that or am I just spewing?

Seems to work, I assume your using Garg when dogs are down? The only problem I see you might run into is mana issues.. but gear will probly be able to solve this.

Never tried it out but I highly doubt Mana will end up being an issue.. the only thing that actually costs mana is Garg Zombie Dogs and Haunt. Garg should always be out, and the dogs have other methods of respawn other than this spell (besides it having a minute CD so the mana should replenish by the time you're ready to cast again. The only thing you would be spamming is Haunt (or whatever DD spell you choose).

Any other comments, critiques or suggestions. I don't have the beta so I can't test it but from looking at it something doesn't seem right or at max efficiency to me.

Never played the better but playing around with the calculator. Trying to work out the most damage a WD can do, probably focusing on sacrifice as it seems to have the most damage. A lot of iterations need to be worked on so let's hear your feedback.

Had some ideas of replacing gargantuan (or maybe even haunt) for a more spammable poison dart.

Was pretty bummed out that summon Dogs had such a long cooldown but the new passive 'circle of life' seems like something to solve this. Also I wasn't sure whether to have Alabaster sacrifice for 55% of respawn dog or crimson for more damage (though I would probably want poison dart to spam and utilize the bonus damage).

also wasn't sure whether I should have alabaster or crimson Big Bad Voodoo. alabaster sacrifice and Circle of life seem to negate the need for too many dog spawns.

Any and all comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm sure this is already known and being dealt with but just in case, the Wizard and Witch Doctor spells still have a set number as opposed to being weapon %. Thanks.

Don't have the game yet, but I wanted to know if there are Deadric items/weapons or any legendary caliber such as in Oblivion like the skeleton key or that unlimited soul gem (azure's tear I think), things that aren't really cheats or game breakers but makes things easier to deal with..

posted a message on Poll: pc or console for skyrim?
Me personally, I prefer console than pc, 2 main reasons -1) I don't have a heavy duty rig to deal with the high end graphics that pc games have the potential of having. and 2)I prefer the controller than a mouse and keyboard any day as well as sitting on a couch with a Tv twice or bigger than my monitor.

But if you have the specs to handle it, Pc is probably the way to go (unless you have my quirks about console over pc too) though the one thing pc has over console besides for potential for better graphics is modding, the pc has modders that are practically free updates and upgrades to the game (and cheats!), including new weapons and enhancements, even new maps and skins and eventually even graphic updates and the like. You can look on the TES wikia to look at some of the mods that previous games had.

Based on everything, if you have a top (or even moderate) level pc, Pc has all the perks and advantages over a console. but like I said, I prefer a controller over mouse/keyboard and nothing beats laying on a couch slaying dragons :D

And i began to like you.... For that treason you shall not get the names of my weapons! Die console mudcrab !

:o Still don't have an adequate rig to play these types of games on, besides I'm a sucker for playing with a controller, sitting on my couch while looking at a Tv over twice the size as my computer monitor (It might be smaller than I would like but still bigger than the monitor).

posted a message on Diablo III Making Of "Black Soulstone"
Wow this is truly amazing! This is what I'm learning; modeling, animating and the like. Blizzard is actually the work that got me hooked on to it. I would love to work for them though relocating isn't an option and I'm only learning this at the local college so my skills need a lot of fine tuning, though my texturing and lighting suck hard. After 'just' drawing and painting on 2d paper/canvases all my life, I love making a 3D interact-able model in the 3D programs and eventually animating them and bringing them to life. Though I have yet to reach the skill of creating an entire horde in 2 days and it can sometimes be tedious, I love it.
It's this that captures me the most. Thanks.

Besides anyone know what program they used? Maya? Max?
