All I have to say is, that team deathmatch in diablo 3 wont work out. 10 minutes of infinite dieing and coming back into battle again, until the timer hits 0 and the team with most kills wins .... lololol... is this a f*ckin fps game? It'll come to camping respawn points of your enemies and covering it with infinite <insert your best skill>.

Jay Wilson, you can do this shit-concept if you ever develop something like quake 3 or cs. The reasoning behind the removal of the last-man-standing concept is just bullnyerking crap, and feels not right at all!!!

So far, pvp in d3 is dead, right now, in before release. LOL!
There's no reason to train hard and develop tactics to own the other team, lol no, they respawn anyway. We'll just be using our most imbalanced skills and spam them into their direction of respawn. Great experience!

    SKILLED PVP INCOMING ^^ O_O

Anyone of you ever played quakelive?
I think, having titles and achievements in pvp would be some nice addition.

    e.g.
    Last Hope
In Clan Arena, frag 3 or more opposing players to win the round, when you're the last alive.

Example how it is done in quakelive: http://www.quakelive.com/#!profile/awards/fragdieb

In diablo3 Blizzard could integrate something like this into your b.net profile or similar, apply special visuals to your character and so on, would be very cool.

I just hope there's at least some kind of reward in pvp, being the best without any visible achievement sucks ^^

posted a message on What do you think about Cooldowns in PvE
    Quote from Wingless

Don't forget that as standard the cooldown is 2 minutes. I wouldn't be surprised that specialization (traits) can get it down to 1 minute.

    Hopefully even lower.

I'm not against cooldowns at all but a 2 minute cooldown in a fastpaced game like diablo3???
This obviously sucks. Max cooldown I wanna see on a maximum of 2 skills is 1 minute. Those skills must be so imbalanced and overpowered, that it's worth to wait for them.

Imagine pvp, you will use those skills max 1 time per round. :QQ:

posted a message on PvP Team theory creation time!
I have not much time so I am not using you're layout op, sorry.
My clan will play this setup at first.

    barb / wiz / demonhunter

May add witch doctor later on, due to his awesome cc-abilities.

    - barb is played on high hp/def + max possible whirlwind damage, uses leap, ground stomp, harpoon and maxes out warcries to support his team,(if warcries will exist).
    - wizard is played on high hp/def, uses slow time, frost nova and Diamond Skin, teleport, rest of points into the best damage skills
    - demonhunter will be played on high damage/evasion, uses 1-2 traps, multishot, maxes out his 1 - 3 primary damage skills (I hope for better skills to be revealed), vault, entangle or better cc spells which will be revealed soonTM?

While Barb will be focusing on maximizing the team's survivability, taking out solo enemies and defending his team from attackers, wizard will be the one who does high aoe damage and ccing the enemies. Meanwhile the demonhunter circles around his enemies with vault, setting up traps and multishotting them into ambush, walls etc. In the right moment he'll push out all of his max damage onto the enemies caught in eg. slowtime or with their back to an obstacle, etc.

that's my setup, at the moment

i'll play sometimes to see if my champ is good and if my builds are viable in PVP.

And i hate health globes in PvP it's lame...same shyt as full regen potions in D2...they were forbidden in D2 why should they become legit in diablo III?

for me health globes in PvP = cheat and lame.

    the customization will be awsome.

    Quote from ScyberDragon

Health globes have to be there otherwise matches would last only for a few seconds minute max.

I'll dedicate my play time to pvp when I'm ready with pve/items&/trading.
I am with Popo_Joe abouth health globes. It just sucks if you ask me, because filling up health is out of place in a serious arena match.

ScyberDragon you are wrong, duels will last long enough when players are experienced or simply skilled enough. Without health globes.

    Quote from Don_guillotine

First off, the DNA analysis isn't obviously yet complete (some media incorrectly reported it as complete).

Secondly, it's as obvious Obama had his personal reasons to this as well, but it's not as super shady as you make it think. CIA simply found out where he was, and Obama took the present given to him. It *might* be plausible that he delayed the attack so it would be closer to the elections.

Thirdly, throwing his corpse into the sea is totally logical. Sea burial leaves no grave. No grave means no place for all his followers to pay their respects. And I think that's exactly how the US government wanted it.

Yeah sure! The past 10 years, Osama was living happily and undiscovered, in a village in pakistan, inhabited mostly by members of the pakistan police/military. This is the place, they claim where he was shot. HAHA yeah sure! I believe that too ... not.

And how can they not have analized the dna and shout out he's dead? For sure another pakistani taxi driver found his head shot because wearing a beard.

It's funny, the american government claims to have killed Osama Bin Laden right now when obama's election campaign just has started. It's also funny they already threw him into the sea, so noone else can identify him. And it's hillarious how they did it, throwing people into the sea is not even near any muslimic tradition. It's even more hillarious their proof is a dns analyzis which isn't even possible to be done in less than 2 days.

If you believe this LOLstorie you're the same naive, brainwashed guys like him:

Sorry but big lol to your country and your patriotism.

Shame on you, american citicens! Cheer upon the death of a "so called" terrorist ...
    I don't believe this story anyway ...

Have you ever thought about what the USA has done to the world (and is still doing) in the past 80 years? You are one kind of a terrorist, murdering, greedy nation. Shoot your own faces and stop killing innocent people around the globe. Douchebags.

    An angry european.

posted a message on DiabloFans and their Ads
    Quote from zerg4hire

So.... what's up with ads on the main page?
I'm not sure whose behind the cash flow from clicking this ad, but whoever is responsible should remove it asap.
How often do you see blogs/websites that have ads staring right at the person, visiting the site for the first time.

Honestly, my very own initial imperssion was... "Great... another money banking site."
My point is, you never want to welcome a first-time visitor with an Ad that is blatantly obvious.

If the site owner's moral is correct, he should value the growth of Diablo community more than the money itself.
Not the other way around, otherwise this community won't get very far as far as Diablo 3 is concered [Its quite obvious hes already trying to turn this website into a cash flow] - Makes me want to cry indeed.

If I was in his shoes, I'd shut down all ads and keep it clean as possible for the new comers and those who are already a daily poster on diablofans. I don't care if theres ads or not, because I dont click on them. But does it annoy me? Yes.
Will it attract newcommers? probably not when the site is welcoming you with ads.
Does the site look professional and friendly? From the initial impression, most unlikely.

You can stick up to support the owner, but in reality, my point something of an important concern. I'm not completely against this site making money, but not like this. Not putting ads on the main page for everyone to see.
You gotta be some moron to have guts to stick ads up like that. Do it in a calm manner and something that won't be too eye appealing. If you've watched the success of facebook through the movie "The social network" putting ads on your site is a big "No-No". You can decide to make $2000 or 2billion, its your call.

I'm writing this because I love this website, and the community. We all love diablo games, and soon or later more people will join us. This is all for the better of them and you, whoever the owner is.

P.S - Before you reply to this thread, do me a favor, go click homepage and take a good look at how it's structured. And then... reply.

lololol zerg4hire ... would you rather wish to pay for the information and services you have access to at diablofans.com? No? So get an ad-blocker or cope with the little advertisement you find here. It seems you have no idea of the capitalist world we live in. Nothing is free of charge. Curse obviously has to pay there hardware and human ressources.

Besides, the ad industry is a big fuckin goldmine if you know what to do. I've worked for a big company specialised in e-mail marketing and ads. It's hillarious how much money they obtain each single day.
