Try my build instead, i'm sure you'll fall in love with it as much as i have.
Using archon is ofcourse optional. But i tend to farm T5-6, and it's still great for quickly clearing Rare packs in 10-15 seconds. Basically Frozen Orb is your go to spam spell, and that's why i use Storm Armor: Power of the Storm. SA combined with Resource cost reduction from paragon levels allows you to spam Frozen Orb like crazy. Electrocute Surge of Power combined with prodigy allows you to very quickly refill your AP, allowing you to spam FO as much as possible.
Personally i use Blur over Glass cannon, as it provides a flat 17% damage reduction on your resistances. You can also opt to use Force Weapon: Deflection for more survivability.
With this build i can personally very easily farm T5, T6 is also doable (doesn't 'feel' effective though). My wizard has between 330-420k dps and 900-1.4 mil toughness depending on what gear set i run with.
Hope you find it to your liking

@gutpik, are you honestly doing MP10 with a 145k dps archon wizard? My wizard's currently sitting on 450-500k dps and i STILL prefer doing MP8-9 in the name of 'efficiency'. I suggest you dial the MP down to 2-5, and start playing with a teleport archon spec. Do a little trial and error and see which MP feels most comfortable and efficient to you. Essentially you want to be able to zap regular mobs in less than a second and elite packs in 5-15s . Just do the same runs you're doing right now, but on a way lower difficulty.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I really hope you're not still playing on MP10, because i'd have gone crazy by now if i were you :p. Try finding a difficulty that feels comfortable, efficient and hopefully fun.
P.s. If you happen to play on EU, you can add me. I might have some leftover wiz gear (#death2538).

Life steal is an utterly pathetic mechanic in terms of game development anyways, and I for one am glad it's getting the boot. Anyways OP, I know the pain of which you speak. Raise your All Res. and get a weapon with LS (the amount of LS on the weapon doesn't really matter that much).Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Also if shit get's hairy when fighting one or multiple packs of RD elites (I've had four at once), find some regular mobs to blast and heal off while you laz0r the elites, always works like a charm.

Yeah i know farming paragon levels can be incredibly boring. Guess i'll try to get some good trifecta gloves and better shoulders. I do wonder if it's worth it dumping 2 bil in a better weapon though :>. But thanks for the advice dude.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

You say you don't get this thread, i guess you should've read it properly. I don't get your response. I'm not gearing for RoS, I merely asked what the best way to improve my already 'decent' wizard would be. I'm already sitting on around 400-450k dps and i'm having a hard time figuring out what the potential best upgrades would be.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
And as such i asked people who're better at gearing what i should focus on.

Hello,Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I've recently returned to playing D3 mostly in preparation of the new expansion, i haven't played in quite a long time, i'd say rougly four months! My wizard isn't P100 yet but i'm getting there. At the moment i can quite comfortably farm MP10 as an archon wizard. But i'm at a total loss at the moment when it comes to improving my wizard! Gold really is a non-issue for me at the moment, but i wonder whether or not it's worth it spending billions for 'minor' upgrades at the moment. I wouldn't even know where to start upgrading efficiently, gold wise that is.
Thus i seek the expert opinion of you godlike wizards! So my two concerns are:
- Is it worthwhile for me to spend a lot for upgrades at the moment?
- And if it is, where would you guys recommend i start improving my gear?
My wizard: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Death-2538/hero/267609
Thank you so much.

Got a storm shield from him once. Good roll, made a few mill off it.
Same, but that's all sadly. I don't bother with bosses anymore nowadays.

I've often found duplicate items in rapid succession of eachother, and so have friends of mine. It's always limited to two items whenever it happens though, and they're always utter shit sadly. However i've been tracking my legendary droprates and lately i've constantly been seeing the same items. For instance the weirdest thing i've ever seen so far happened tonight, where i had the same item (vigilance) drop every game at exactly the same location at the Forlorn Farm quest...four times in a row. I'm now the "proud" owner of six vigilances, derp.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
On topic though, the rollback scheme is pretty old actually, friends of mine have been doing it with their nat's legacy sets on various accounts. I frown upon, it but even i have to agree that's an ingenious way to make huge profits seeing as it really is completely a fault on blizzard's end.

362 armorPosted in: EU Servers Trading
+48 fire res
+5.5% crit c.
+57.8 life per spirit spent
I couldn't find a single other helm with these exact same stats, but those without life per spirit spent are at least 30 million. What i wonder is: are they really worth that much, and is mine worth more due to the LSS?

Probably the first game I have got to the final boss and had no ambition to try and kill him
This so much. When my mates and i first reached Diablo. We got there at blazing speed, actually just about keeping up with the fastest players. But when we reached Diablo, and were fairly certain we could kill him, we gave up. What was the point? Two shitty blues and an achievement, i went back to whimseyshire.
