Yes, i know i popped up from nowhere! <_<
But looking to this picture, i couldn't keep anymore!
Like you care, i just wanna say i didn't like the new look of Tyrael.
Especially in this picture, he looks like Enrique Iglesias with hood!
Looks like Enrique who? Looks like some is in love with him.
Yea, you said your opinion too...
huh? -

I just think this was a publicity stunt, they did not hear our complaints nor care. They intentionally released a batch of rehashed pics knowing the fans would be pissed and than released this one so that 1) we, the fans would think that they are listening to us and 2) we would appreciate this picture so much more after receiving the last four.
or they actually care...
as simple as that. -

PVP with Barbarian confusing enemy: A good hit on a Player-Enemy makes the attackbutton and movement wierd. It could work, however Im not interested in PVP.
In PvE the alabaster runestone effect on whirlwind will be an interesting choice for crit builds. -

Oh man, I totally forgot that blizzard is solely releasing artwork just for your satisfaction, what is blizz thinking releasing artwork that you've already seen. Unacceptable blizzard!
Oh man, I guess I got got. Touche sir. I'll just go watch the same movie several times and think about my future.
I watched Bruce Almighty many times and still lol hard at the scene when Jim Carrey was messing with Steve Carell while making a news report.
I watched Troy many times and still makes me say dang when I see Achilles did that "jump stab" move against the big guy which is now a staple to almost all action fantasy movie and heck even games. Might even see it on Barbarian or Templar. I know The Witcher (2) does it and it looks cool.
Anyway, my point is just be happy to what we receive. I'm sure blizzard is doing their best to fill in the gaps to the starving d3 community. I'm not trying to start an argument here. I'm just sick and tired of people who complains in general. All posts are positive so far except yours even though already 2 of us explained it once. -

It's not a very good facebook reward though if it's already on their website, even if some of those people hadn't seen it yet.
And three of those Barbarian concept pieces in the first group-piece are on the D3 site, both on the Barbarian main page and in the concept section (though one has a slightly modified helmet). The left-most one has appeared in several places (and I believe in the art trailer released in 2008), though I don't see it on the site.
I may have been mistaken about the second one, it is very similar to some others I have seen.
It's not that I want to make a big deal out of it. It's just that I look forward to these image releases because Blizzard never give us any damn information, and I am sad to see recycled material in them

I'm wondering why they bothered adding the two Barbarian ones, since they've been on diablo3.com since announcement.
The other stuff is pretty sweet though
The artwork you mentioned will eventually be posted in facebook and you'll be surprise that a lot of peeps haven't seen it yet. Not all 10million players that will buy diablo 3 follows the game like we do =D
edit: I forgot to mention how awesome these batch of artwork is. Made me want to roll a barbarian. -

1. Seriously, potions model? Okay I'll humor you, have you seen this page at all? http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/potion/ there's a graphics progression base on the health it replenishes and last 4 are placeholders and I'm sure the art will be better than the one before it.
2. Character creation - a screen where we'll (or at least I am) be spending less than 1 minute. The other 1 billion hours is playing the game. Also this is just the beta, I'm sure the live will be different and if not I could care less, it doesn't affect my game play.

Also, I know myself and I know I'm not creative enough and seeing the contest winner of last week that I won't ever have a chance. I'm still hoping for blizz's invite of course. Like I said goodluck to everyone entering. No hard feelings here

Blizzard's invite vs US if not the world (random in case your comp is not what they're looking for testing)
Dfans caption contest vs only dfans community (if you're clever enough you can actually win it)

D3 really needs the paladin back as the 1h and shield wielder, atm shield doesn't fit any of the class. Only fits the Templar follower.

Don't think they're haters, maybe they don't really know what you meant. Every game has its own term so maybe they just didn't play the game that uses the term
That build or selection focus too much offense (only 2 room left rage gen. and makes no room for defense) and rely too much on stuns. Once the opponent escapes from your stun lock strategy, your team is pretty much screwed.
And to counter your infinite aka stun lock, when properly timed. Barb can sprint/furious charge/leap attack escape from it, DH can Vault out of it, Monk can blinding flash/dashing strike/inner santuary to name a few, WD can spirit walk/horrify and wizard teleport/wave of force. There are more counters but these are just a few.
Oh and akainu, he said newbs not noobs

edit: oh crap just noticed its the male DH, oh well.

Yeah I know, those are just my wish (base on my experience on another action rpg) but I can definitely go for them adding back green for set (as official) and another color for unique (gold/dark gold or any appropriate color). Like I said diablo has millions of millions of random loot (not to mention this is a game that you'll play for years and years) and just having 3 feels kinda underwhelming. I'm definitely okay with what we have right now just to be clear.

I just wish though that there's more color ranking. Having only 3 (blue, yellow, orange) real colors (possibly 4 now that crafted sets is in green text) seems a bit underwhelming versus the sheer size of loot that's found in the game. I was hoping for something like:
White - we all know no one will equip this other than the first 2-3 hours of the game
Green - set items
Blue - regular magic items
Dark Blue - upgraded magic items (has unique affixes than regular blue)
Yellow - rare
Dark Gold - unique (makes a come back, maybe) (sorry forum doesn't have gold like text color)
Orange - normal to nighmare
Dark Orange - hell to inferno
Red - god slaying?
I know it's just colors but things like this excites me. Borderlands kinda have this kind of color coding and its very satisfying that even items colors has progression.
