posted a message on Some Little Things That Could Look Better
    Quote from Nightblaze1

    1. Potions: In the Diablo 3 beta, the images of the basic potions just look quite boring and bland. Diablo 2 had it right with the potion graphics... So I hope changes to the appearance of the Diablo 3 potions come with its release.

    2. Character Creation Screen: Also looking quite bland and boring. The UI of this screen makes it look like a jumbled mess and pretty ugly. I absolutely loved the setting of the Diablo 2 character creation screen, with all the classes standing around the campfire and giving off an animation when picked.

At the moment this is all I can think of. If anyone else has ideas on what small things in Diablo 3 look much better and make the game that tad bit more immersive, please feel free to list your opinions.

PS: Sorry for not having any images with my points... I tried to upload some but it just got very time consuming and frustrating finding the right pictures, editing them on paint (the only pic editing program I have and know how to use) and trying to upload them here. =)

    1. Seriously, potions model? Okay I'll humor you, have you seen this page at all? http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/potion/ there's a graphics progression base on the health it replenishes and last 4 are placeholders and I'm sure the art will be better than the one before it.

    2. Character creation - a screen where we'll (or at least I am) be spending less than 1 minute. The other 1 billion hours is playing the game. Also this is just the beta, I'm sure the live will be different and if not I could care less, it doesn't affect my game play.

posted a message on Caption Contest Winner?
My apologies if my post kinda felt like I was QQ'ng, reason why I posted that I won't even try is because I'm enjoying playing Rage in the past few days that it made me forget about the D3 beta ;)

Also, I know myself and I know I'm not creative enough and seeing the contest winner of last week that I won't ever have a chance. I'm still hoping for blizz's invite of course. Like I said goodluck to everyone entering. No hard feelings here ;)

I think you guys are forgetting that your chances here is way better than blizzard's.

Blizzard's invite vs US if not the world (random in case your comp is not what they're looking for testing)
Dfans caption contest vs only dfans community (if you're clever enough you can actually win it)

posted a message on Anyone else worried about Blizzard corruption in the RMHA?
No. There's an interview somewhere out there that they're not going to practice this and for the sake of their reputation they won't do it. This is not an MMO free to play game where you pay to win. Some people think RMAH that way just because they're not aware how it works.

I posted this the D3 community site:

D3 really needs the paladin back as the 1h and shield wielder, atm shield doesn't fit any of the class. Only fits the Templar follower.

posted a message on Infinites in D3 I think YES!
    Quote from InfamousGK

SO MANY HATERS ON THESE BOARDS DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

okay well Blizz has said that we will see 2v2 3v3 and 5v5 teams.

I forgot there was a cooldown on AS but if you have 2 or 3 barbs on a team then the infinite (stun lock for all the newbs) would still work.

I just did this quick to show you haters how it might work.

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#Rei..Z!Vgh!cac

Use AS then GS to stun for 3 secs then YOU COULD use Earthquake then the other barb does the same and there you have an infinite.

Don't think they're haters, maybe they don't really know what you meant. Every game has its own term so maybe they just didn't play the game that uses the term ;)

That build or selection focus too much offense (only 2 room left rage gen. and makes no room for defense) and rely too much on stuns. Once the opponent escapes from your stun lock strategy, your team is pretty much screwed.

And to counter your infinite aka stun lock, when properly timed. Barb can sprint/furious charge/leap attack escape from it, DH can Vault out of it, Monk can blinding flash/dashing strike/inner santuary to name a few, WD can spirit walk/horrify and wizard teleport/wave of force. There are more counters but these are just a few.

Oh and akainu, he said newbs not noobs ;)

posted a message on Anyone else really happy about the items?
    Quote from Graphics_I

I was hoping for something like:

White - we all know no one will equip this other than the first 2-3 hours of the game
    Green - set items
    Blue - regular magic items
Dark Blue - upgraded magic items (has unique affixes than regular blue)
    Yellow - rare
Dark Gold - unique (makes a come back, maybe) (sorry forum doesn't have gold like text color)
    Orange - normal to nighmare
Dark Orange - hell to inferno
    Red - god slaying?

I get where your coming from but I would have to disagree with some aspects of your post. Although I think three colours isn't enough, going over five would be over the top. If multiple different items dropped at the same time it would be like looking at a rainbow, which would be totes ridic.

Yeah I know, those are just my wish (base on my experience on another action rpg) but I can definitely go for them adding back green for set (as official) and another color for unique (gold/dark gold or any appropriate color). Like I said diablo has millions of millions of random loot (not to mention this is a game that you'll play for years and years) and just having 3 feels kinda underwhelming. I'm definitely okay with what we have right now just to be clear.

I'm happy with the items seen at the community website and we all know that that's only tip of the iceberg.

I just wish though that there's more color ranking. Having only 3 (blue, yellow, orange) real colors (possibly 4 now that crafted sets is in green text) seems a bit underwhelming versus the sheer size of loot that's found in the game. I was hoping for something like:

White - we all know no one will equip this other than the first 2-3 hours of the game

    Blue - regular magic items

I know it's just colors but things like this excites me. Borderlands kinda have this kind of color coding and its very satisfying that even items colors has progression.

I'm not worried about Diablo 3 since most of the people who tried it is already describing it as feels like Diablo 2 and controls like a diablo game. What I'm worried about is the future diablo (part 4 anyone?) or w/e blizz is going to do with the franchise on its next chapter. If the console version of D3 (if it ever happened) exploded and became a huge success then the next chapter will be made with console in mind. And that folks will mess up our dear game. The UI, the controls, the game play, ugh I'm puking just thinking about it.
