posted a message on Best Speed Farm S9 Set?
    Quote from samdango-next

    Advice?

WD gets Jade Harvester set in S9. Use that opportunity, the build is fast and explosive for farming and it literally needs nothing more than the 6-piece bonuses.

wrong) this combo is super useful for most of the speedfarming t10-t13 builds, I mean there is a huge difference between natural toughness and immortality. I use it for LoN monk for about 7-8 month in a row, forgot when I was killed in nefalem)

Yup, I use it currently on my chicken WD build and it works amazingly.
When I said that for non-seasonal characters the toughness granted by Goldwrap isn't necessary, I meant for characters that are quite higher in the paragon scale than a seasonal character.

If you guys are still close to a seasonal character's paragon points of course you'll find it useful. I was talking about non-seasonal characters of 1500+ paragon with already close-to-perfect gear in their builds.

Now only viable in season beginnings (quite a good way to begin actually). Not many non-seasonal players need toughness anyway.

posted a message on Stash tab for non-seasonal players

One question, will gold gear affect yield AFTER the ACTS have been run, change out before opening?

No. It also won't help when gathering the bags. Each bag has a specific amount of gold in it, per torment difficulty. That doesn't change.

Wrong, you need to be anywhere but town and vault to get that achievement.

Lol, nope, you are wrong. Town works, I did it, other people did it too. I have no idea where you get that from, even if you check the conquests list in-game you'll see that town is NOT one of the places excluded.

So please do not spread wrong information, thank you.

    Life hack (Avaritia):

Gather 140 bounty bags from T7.

Store them all in your stash.

When done, go in a private game, unequip all your items, all your paragon points, dismiss your follower and your pet.

Then just stand next to your stash, open up all bags, don't pick up anything until finished and then just take a single step. BOOM, avaritia.

Ugh, just play season to get the stash tab like everyone else. I can tell you as a non-seasonal player as well that it takes about 5-6 days to complete Conqueror and get the tab. I understand that you don't like seasons, neither do I as a matter of fact I hate everything about them, but it's a necessary evil that FORTUNATELY takes only about 5-6 days (in a period of 3+ months) to get out of the way.

So yeah, stop complaining and just do it.

Given the Tl Rasha set in the Haedrig's Gift, would be dumb not to play wizard this season.

posted a message on PTR Big Bad Voodoo change clarification

    Fellow Witch Doctors,

I need your insight to something I hope is not meant to be written in the way that I understand it. In the PTR changes, you can find this:

    • Big Bad Voodoo
        • The attack speed bonus has been reduced from 20% to 15%
        • Skill Rune - Slam Dance
            • The damage bonus provided to allies has been decreased from 30% to 15%

My question is, will the player that casts BBV still get the entirety of the 30% damage buff??? I get that allies will get a decreased percentage of 15%, but does the word "allies" include YOU??? I think yes, but I hope not.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

posted a message on Specific Gear Farming

There are a lot of different ways but since you asked for the fastest, here is the fastest method to get a specific item:

Step 1: Get in T10 rifts. You're 300P (basically next to useless) but the others players rifting there, aren't. Farm materials this way (plus T10 has the most players)

Step 2: With step 1 you accumulate shards the fastest. Drop them all in Kadala. Keep in a stash tab the yellows you get until it's filled.

Note: Do NOT upgrade any yellows yet

Step 3: Do step 1 & 2 for about a week. If you still haven't got your item, go to step 4.

Step 4: You've accumulated a lot of materials by now. Start upgrading the rares you have kept. Hopefully you'll get your item.

Specific items are quite hard to find when needed. Even so the above method is the fastest (unless someone has something even faster to suggest, but if so please suggest it with reasoning) and with a bit of luck you'll probably end up getting your item, as well as others which might be needed later.

posted a message on How to survive as a Witch Doctor?

I'm sorry to tell you but a HC Witch Doctor is almost as good as dead. You need constant toughness buffs in order not to get single-hit, and these really impact your DPS. What do I mean by that...:

Uhkapian serpent w/ Zombie Dogs - Life Link is a decent 40% toughness buff active all the time.

Zunimassa's Haunt 4p buff w/ Fetish Army - Legion of Daggers is a 24% toughness buff also active all the time.

Esoteric Alteration / Mutilation Guard / Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard (shield)

Apart from these three there is really nothing else that will give you a toughness boost that will never go away (that way helping through loading screens etc) but these 3 do limit your offensive options. Unfortunately for a WD that won't die in a given level of difficulty you need a lot more paragon levels and experience, as well as buffed up items than other characters like Barbarian, Monk or Crusader.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I've main'd WD my whole D3 "career" and I can tell you with certainty that even though he is versatile and can put out a lot of damage, is toughness is always lower than other classes.
