Do those blue goblins that multiply have something to do with it or is that still one goblin? Then there's the bandit shrines which spawn up a bunch of the little guys. If you can make or acquire a puzzle ring and do the boss at the end of the vault, goblins spawn pretty much non-stop until you kill him I believe. We sat in there just waiting for goblins to pop up. We even died and went back in just to kill more goblins.
Frenzy is one of my favorite moves. Shame I don't ever use it anymore like I did when I was a low level barb. It's just so fun to start out slow and then build up to a wrecking machine.
Yeah I tried doing the same thing and you really really need Ignore Pain. Get the belt Pride of Cassius as it extends your Ignore Pain time. It's just too hard to survive otherwise
