    I suspect duel-wielding xbows will work (as people have said in this thread) really well with Crit damage % increases. a flat 10% crit while using 1h xbows combined with an extra socket to squeeze another emerald into could really throttle your damage. I don't believe crit dmg % is included into you dps however.

    Unfortunately as I haven't yet finished hell and am still 3 lvls shy of cap i haven't really sat down and sused it out. I will do however and will defiantly post my findings here when i do. It will be the 1st thing i work out when i hit 60. If i can find someone else who has crunched the numbers ill happily share their info with you.

    Yeah i think you're right. any min/max dmg, dmg %, IAS or Elemental damage on a wep is factored into its overall DPS. Dex and crit chance/crit damage I believe are not so tha'ts what I tend to look for.

    I like the changes.

    KSS keep it simple stupid. I know many people just call that dumbing it down however I feel that it was probably what was needed. 3000 rune variants, and how rare a level 7 rune was going to be is just absurd. There needs to be a grind for gear however there does also need to be a limit. I really liked their 1st system, I hated their 2nd system so this is probably a good middle man.

    Hopefully were now in the polishing stage full time and we cant start to see signs of release. rock on.

    Impale used to be cool. Fire a massive arrow that smashes people for 275% weapon damage! HUGE!

    now you just throw some knives at people, and it does the same dmg. sure its a visual effect however i still have a problem with it. just seems so underwhelming. Jay talks about barbs being able to throw people around and send corpses flying which is awesome, i just feel the demon hunters impale still is so lacklustre. if you ask me it should be a huge bolt that stick in people you shoot. that would be cool. any1 else?

    I have not read the entire topic however im rolling a demon hunter for a few reasons.

    Entangling shot as a hatred generatror. Win.
    Combined with vault and evasive fire to help keep distance on players. invaluable.
    and for when you want to bring the pain, you have marked for death on your target and pop shadow power and smash some impales into them.

    Yeah i find it hard to go back. every time i got out of wow i would end up going back to d2 and play for a while. sadly id always find i cbf botting up gear to build my pwnage PK bowazon again so id end up just stopping. still would enjoy it for that month tho. timeless game

    It can be however the work involved is huge. balancing 2v2 is so hard so blizzard chose to ignore it and focus on 3v3 as being the most balanced arena size. Battlegrounds have always been balanced (cept for shamans in vanilla ;))

    Yes I can't remember the name Jay used but there is the capacity to do that. They use it for cc abilities and such, mainly to reduce the time people are stuck in a cc affect or slowed. Blizzard however seem to be pretty adamant that they will not spend as much time focusing on the pvp balance as opposed to the fun in PVE. if a move throws a huge fireball that blows everyone away and takes off half their health, they probably don't what to chance that for pvp either because people will find it a fun concept and idea.

    For me its probably 2v2. It's just so easy to organise games with just 1 other mate. 3v3 has always been the most enjoyable for me, in wow at least. 2v2 imbalances in wow were viral however they don't plan on focusing on pvp balance. I don't see why they can't add the mode and i wouldn't be surprised if it was patched in at a later date(or in the expansion).
