Hey all,
I am a big fan of Blizz games. (As we all are) : D
I have been on the forums lately, and liked them so much I decided to join.
You guys seem like a great community with a wealth of insight into everything diablo.
I basically am a little tired of SC2 at the moment and went to get back in RPG's. (been playing FF1, and D1 lately, as you can tell graphics don't concern me)
Nice to meet you all!

Yumaro posted a message on PvE Traits effects are different from PvP TraitsAs I was typing up traits for DiabloWiki, I noticed that PvE trait effect for the Witch Doctor is different from PvPs’.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
If you look closely at the first screen image for PvE, Toughness at rank 5 would increase Vitality at 100% while the last screen shot for PvP, Toughness is only increased at rank 5 to 50%.
We've heard that PvE and PvP traits and skills were different but we didn't know by how much. This evidence shows us exactly how much PvE and PvP traits are from one another. I should have noticed this before! - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Sounds oddly similar to how things were in Diablo II, yet people still PvP'd a lot. The biggest difference is that you can't grief people anymore. Are you sure that's really not what you're upset about?

Really - you didn't notice the waypoint or the resistance icons flipping?

The skill that you see being spammed was Rampage ( Barbarian#Skills). I believe this was one of the few skills that didn't require Fury at the blizzcon demo, which is something you definitely want to bring as an opener in PvP.

Don't recall if they've come out and said this explicitly, but I think it's obvious they will have to avoid always making the same source the best. It's safe to say D3 will primarily focus on the best gear coming from drops, but they can't trivialize crafting or quest rewards either.
I don't think we've heard any plans to implement this and it seems unlikely given that we know there will be a shared stash.
Only quest items.

From what we've seen so far it will behave just like in D2.
The skill tree system was replaced with a simpler "tiered" skill system, where there will be new set of skill choices unlocked at specific levels.
Yes, Wizard#Skills
I think we can expect there to be sidequests, but they haven't said how those will be presented.
They haven't announced how that will work yet, but they have acknowledged that the previous system could definitely be improved (ie: dumping all your items into the trade window)

It won't always be visually obvious, but you can mostly expect each higher rank to give the same bonus but just more of it. More discussion here: http://www.diablofans.com/topic/23734-resurrections-shrines-poison-clouds-and-rune-effects/
