So I want to get into the guild but I'm not sure what my b.net username is, would that be the b.net login inside D2?

posted a message on Discussion: The last class is NOT a ranged class
I'd love to see a true ranged class as well! I can really visualize a nature magic wielding range class. I don't really foresee pets or nature summons, but fissures in the earth, stone based magic, root spells these sorts of things that really allow you to control the battlefield in a way that would be really beneficial for a ranged class. As some people have said in other threads, making thrown weapons like throwing axes and knives as well as the various gas potions a more viable aspect of the game intrigues me. Perhaps a speed advantage to thrown weapons over bow/crossbow weapons could be put into place. Bows should do superior dmg per shot, but take longer to reload, where as you can throw knives etc. at a much faster rate while supplementing these skills with the aforementioned nature spells.

I'd love to do this too, however I'm not experienced with battle.net so I'd need some people to walk me through some things, but I'm definitely down.

hey thanks for the warm welcome and the poll vote guys! I 100% agree that it will be the 5th class, really seems the only logical conclusion to me.

One that no-one here has mentioned was Sacred II. Now before you all start flaming me for this, I know it wasn't a great game but it satisfied my loot-whoring tendencies that began with Diablo II. As far as an ARPG on consoles this is really the only one currently out. Also dependent upon when you get this shexy new console there may be a new game out from a studio called Snowblind (makers of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and Champions: Return to Arms) they're releasing a Lord of the Rings RPG called LotR: War in the North. <--- Could be freakin sweet! I'm not sure on the release but I'll look it up and add it to this post.

*okay so their official site www.warinthenorth.com only mentions 2011

posted a message on hello everyone
    Hey everybody!

I've been spending a more than appropriate amount of time at work floating around this site over the last few days, so I decided I'd just create an account. Instead of PM'ing people I thought I'd just start a quick little thread and say hello. See you guys in game!

    Quick poll included

Alright I just reloaded D2 woot! I'ts been about 4 years since I've played, and I never played on b.net. I've been hovering around these forums for the last couple of days and I just finally created an account. I'm interested in rolling a new character for b.net but I have literally zero experience with this facet of the game. I have WoW experience and a fair amount of single-player d2 experience (through the campaign with two toons and once again through nm). I'm hoping someone can assist me in learning not only the intricacies of the game I never took the time to familiarize myself with but also the vagaries of b.net. All responses are appreciated and I thank you all in advance.

p.s. I would love to make some new online-buddies not only for d2 but in ancticipation of d3, So if you're inclined to start a new game lemme know! Currently set up on US. West. Thanks again.
