posted a message on 150 hours and...
I actually somewhat enjoy Act 2, more than I enjoy Act 3 and last 1/2 of Act 1. On another note, I love Act 4, it gives me that feeling you're really chasing Diablo once more. I like. :)

Actually though, I know where you're coming from. Myself having 2 60's and two other characters in their early 10's I get that feeling too sometimes. As someone already has stated, you(we) might be playing it a bit too much. That's obviously not the entire root of the problem, but it might help making it a bit endurable if you take things a tad bit slower. (Just a thought, I don't know.)

posted a message on Maximize Performance and Minimize Stutter in Diablo III
Interesting thread, I might have to try some of the tips provided here.

It's funny though, D3 stutters so oddly for me. It's hardly noticeable on the framerate, it stays around 90-100 when I'm running around in New Tristram while having these very apparent stutters.

I'm currently most just playing HoN and Minecraft while waiting for D3, PlanetSide2 and GW2. Good lord I can't wait for PS2, it's going to be amazing! Oh btw, feel free to hop in on our MC server once in a while. :) We've got one of the best combination of plugins out there imo. (shameless plug)

I don't know what to say really. I mean, it's random so who should I thank? I guess I'll just have to thank every involved party..

Thank you Blizzard for giving these keys to fans and fansites.

Thank you DiabloFans for, well, giving out the keys you were given.

And, ultimately, thank you Dice God for rolling in my favor this time around.

Good luck to the rest of you!

posted a message on Eu beta giveaways coming and maybe already happening.
    Aye, they are already happening.

I've been participating in most of the giveaways so far. Though not any Twitter/Facebook contests which basically is first-come first-serve. (I don't have the patience to sit and watch my twitter timeline hoping for a giveaway question or something of similar nature.

Right now though it seems like my only hope is DiabloFans' random giveaway. :)

posted a message on A question for veterans of the series
Honestly, I wouldn't call myself a true "veteran" of the series. As I, in fact, played somewhat casually back when since I was so young. I hadn't really gotten the experience that you often need during more hardcore/online play. So I guess you could say that I was a yet innocent Diablo-player. :) I played mostly with friends on LAN and on closed games over B.net. Never really getting passed level 40-50 as we usually stopped after killing Diablo and started to play on a new character.

However, if I were to answer the question I'm about 75-80% certain that Diablo 3 will live up to what MY expectations are for the third game in the series. :) As you can see I clearly believe in this game, but there is some uncertainty regarding it's longevity for myself personally. I hope that me, my brother and all of my gaming friends will play D3 for a long time to come. Maybe not 24/7 after the first few weeks, as we are primarly a MMO-focused group of people, but hopefully we hop in every now and then to simply enjoy the game that is Diablo 3.

posted a message on To co-op or not to co-op?
I'm definitely co-op all the way!

Though I don't see myself playing public games very often. Actually, as of right now I have quite a bunch of my closest gamer friends interested in D3 so I'll rarely have to play alone. So there will be very little reason for me to enter a public game.

Games is a social experience, it's best experienced with friends. Just like when you were a kid and went out with your friends to play or adventure in the forest. The next day you were all alone, decided to go out again trying to find that level "fun" again that you previously experienced. Not so easy if I recall correctly.

Co-op is the way to go! - Play with your friends!

posted a message on Your ideal Enviroment when diablo III is released?
My ideal release "environment" would be something along these lines:

I magically got two weeks off from studies, the weather is beautiful and my family is happy. I'm feeling good, my monthly income just dropped in and I finally got around buying that expensive computer chair I've always wanted. I've stocked in on some Ben & Jerrys, a few Innis & Gunn, some cashewnuts and ultimately chili-roasted corn.(<- OMG, so good!) The fridge is loaded with delicious vegetables, sallads for dinner and sodawater.

posted a message on What gender will you pick for your first character and why? Also, what gender are you?
It depends on which class I'll pick - Which I wont/can't decide untill the release date where me and my friends sit down to create our first characters/group.

Though these are the class/sex combinations I'm sticking with right now:

    Barbarian - Male
    Demon Hunter - Female
    Monk - Male
    Witch Doctor - Male
    Wizard - Female

    I'm also male irl.

posted a message on What are you most excited about?
I'm not sure if it's that much of a "feature" such as the story/lore or other gameplay related things. But I like, love, playing with my friends in co-op mode. The social part is what brings me to play online instead of singleplayer/offline. It's also become sort of a curse for me, since I can't play SP games anymore.

The story is also one of the things that I'm really excited about. I loved the feeling D2 gave me with chasing this demon through all of these acts, helping villages and destroying armies of monsters. Back then, for me, the world felt alive, dangerous and yet very intriguing. I'm very much hoping to find all of this, and much more, in Diablo 3.

So if I'd list my top things I'm looking foward to:

    #1 - co-op - Playing with friends.
#2 - Story - Adventuring through the world of Sanctuary once again. (Good god, I can't wait!)
