Some things that are going to take the fun out of the game:

***Removing the skill tree. This is something that could be tweaked...but removing it altogether...well thats not diablo.

***Having separate drops for each player...ie everybody gets a peice of the pie. Little to marxist for me. What if a player leaves an item...is there a time limit on the pickup restriction or will the item lay there indefinatly. Major flaw in the everybody gets a piece of the pie model.

***taking away the gloomy feel of diablo and replacing it with flashy purple and pink colors. Whats next, take away the blood?

***I hate to say this to...acutally dont hate to say it...but being able to choose class sex is not diablo. Its WOW.

Another major problem...is the delay delay delay issue. They announced that the game existed in 08. IMO it could not possibly take longer than 2 years more to finish it and release it. Unless you were waiting to finish and release two other games. This brings starcraft. Starcraft two is basically the same game as the starcraft. No new classes or whatever in there. Just new units and new graphics. And it also brings us to yet another expansion to WOW. Cough cough...let wow go for a bit.

My point here is why bother telling us about a game 3-4 years before you plan on releasing it? I would not be suprized one bit if we didnt see it until holidays of 2012 for around 75 bucks.

They don't owe the community anything and yet they are kind enough to give us updates once in a while.

You just have to live with it until they release the final product, which I'm sure is going to kick ass!

    Edit: @mod fair enough ;)

Im a bit worried. About the rating. Its a must for M. Its not true about sales. There are just as many older gamers if not more than the younger ones. Games are targeted to an audience. They woould sell less if they rated it T.

The definatly didnt fire them cause they wanted to make d3 like hellgate. The north crew kinda thought of hellgate after the fact.

It was a stupid reason im sure. Some high up fuck probably took an off hours tour of the studioe and cought some one misbehaving.

They were mortified. They took action.

I told you people Blizzard is going lame. T, MMO, and what else...Pay to PLAY.

I know when they cooked the North crew they fried any chances of making diablo 3 a diablo game. They going full 3d now.

The North crew got fired because the game they were working on "just wasnt fun to play". I bet my life savings it was most fans expectations and then some.

But, it wasnt mmo so vivendi handed down the wrath of corprate decision making. No M now either.

I find your comment kinda funny. You may or may not have played 360. But you have never even touched a ps3. 99.9999 perc of people havent, yet they all seem to have their minds made up. They are both not all that good. Better off investing into a PC.

I got another Idea. This has to do with skill tree. I got mine binded on my mouse...got one with like 5 buttons on it. Even so, I constantly find myself clicking for skill tab and having to move mouse down to bottom of screen to select skill. I think id would be good to have the skill tab appear more closely related to where your curser Is on the screen. That way its that much close to click on spell or whatever you want.

Im all about keeping gameplay as similar as possible to the game Ive come to know and lvoe. LMAO.

You could keep it point and click to do just about anything. Although, there would be problems with people not wanting character to climb...and having it climb. Could be a real annoyiing cause for deaths.

I think it wou ld be cool to make it more open world. Having each area open up as you progressed. The problem with that is how do you regenerate different terrain everytime. Would be a pretty difficult task.

Me, I already have a problem with the keyboard binds. I have not found a good spot for my potions. Quest bind I have totally put on right side of keyboard...my quest screen will never again pop up when makeing a life saving attempt at a gulp. Yes, I died because of that.

A change in gameplay, at least an addition, id like to see worked out would be use of WASD for up, left, down and right. Maybe that should be an option. Im sure folks would want the actual up down l r curssers...but having wasd allows you to bind many close by keys for quick access.

Buy the time ps3 comes out, you will be able to by a computer thats smokin for that money...with a video and sound card. I dont get the console thing.

If anyone wants to know what the graphs and games will look like, just check out 360. They are gonna be as similar as ... budwiser is to miller.

BTW. MS is by no means a newb in gamming or console making. A console is a computer and uses software. MS has been most succesfull in both areas, and will probably [not with standing an act of god or government intervention] swallow console market whole.

I just had a hilarious idea. Random deaths. Like lightning, falling off cliffs, falling through ice. I know it would infuriate people, but well shit happens. It could also happen to creatures in game. Except for bosses. I think the stronger you get the more rezilliant you should be to these improbable mishapps. You could use knockback hits to drive creatures off cliffs.

Also, my god, you must be able to kill nuetrals. I mean nuetrals by wildlife. etc. Things that are there...not neseccarily easy to kill...that will drop items when offed...and may or may not go on the attack when confronted. An interesting twist to this could be an incredibly strong creature [much like a unique] when ticked off.

I cant stop laughing about the random lightning strike..." characters was struck by lightning...". Omg would that be too funny. I know...I dont always laugh when I die. In fact yestarday I had to replace my keyboard again...I died and got mad.

Have been thinking about this more and more. On great thing about D2LOD Ist that the maps are almost always different. Trade off for open world would be that It would probably be the same map every time. What I mean by open world is somthing more like GTA. You can go anywhere , do anything so to speak. One annoying thing Is how the characters movement is limited through out the game. Things like climbing walls, swimming, and jumping should all be added. There should be no place in the game where the unit cannot explore...even to his demise. They will most definatly have a good story line and graphics. Things they should really really fine tune are the environment and how the player interacts with it. I know it would piss people off...but falling through thin ice just to take a short cut should be possible. Weather...and seasons. Another Problem I have is trying to cast my volcaneo about a hundred times before I will work...could be an improvment there.

Ther mercinary should absolutly be able to use all items. Sure, make some bow only or whatever...but things like boots...etc...yea that is just lazy not to include.

Im more concerned with the environmental design. It makes for a more immersive game. Honestly, random deaths would be a riot. Like a random lighting strick. Fallin through ice, off a cliff. Litteraly havin a burning tree fall down on character...could use that to insta kill other creatures too. Thats just me.
