    What is the general consensus regarding mainstat for support monks, or just supports in general really? It seems to me that having intelligence would be much more beneficial than dexterity, since you're not doing any damage anyway. Yet I rarely see anyone actually having intelligence over dexterity on their gear. What gives? Do people not have a WD og wiz to farm intelligence gear on? Though that doesn't explain hellfire amulets having dex...


    It's probably not that big a deal, but I'm still curious. Any inputs?

    Hello people.


    My Wiz is rather well geared, but I have a problem with my Halo of Arlyse.


    The one I currently have geared is Ancient, and has:

    Dmg, Int, CHD and socket


    I have another, non-ancient with:

    Int, CHD, CHC and socket.


    The ancient one gives me more damage, should I stick with it? Or is CHC better, even with the game telling me otherwise, and with us Wizards already having much more CHC than CHD?

    I have not been able to find any numbers for the Experience difference between different grift levels. There's no help to find in "character details", it'll always show the same thing.


    Have anyone crunched the numbers?

    Interesting. If you can and have the time, make sure to test whether the boots alone are "the problem", or if it only happens using a certain combination of bonuses, like Soothing Ligth, Inna, Mantra of Healing, or whatever else might be a trigger.

    Okay, so I've gotten a good idea of how Monks LpS works, and I can calculate it pretty perfectly.


    However, my Monk-player friend tells me that sometimes, his LpS goes up for no apparent reason, while he's in combat.


    The same thing happens to Quin in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnIj7rCJero&feature=youtu.be&t=8m47s

    He sits at 1.4m LpS. He then activates Soothing Light, rocketing up to 1.8m


    However, a bit later, when he's in town: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnIj7rCJero&feature=youtu.be&t=16m07s

    He sits at 900k, and goes to 1.3m


    For some reason, he has roughly 500k LpS EXTRA from just being in combat.

    I'ts not due to Soothing Light, since I already described that.

    It's not due to any ally, like Templar, since he has none.

    And, as far as I can tell, he has no other viewable buffs that should affect his LpS.


    So, where does it come from?

    Okay, first of, I'm not a Monk player, so I don't have the gear to test things out.


    As far as I can tell, Mantra of Healing heals the group 30% of the Monks LpS. Let's just ignore the 21457 base number thing.

    Then, Sustenance adds an additional 30%, totalling 60% of the Monks LpS.

    THEN, on top of that, whatever that number is, Inna doubles it. Effectively giving you 120% of the monks LpS.


    I just want to know, is that correct? Whatever LpS the Monk has, without Mantra of Healing active and without Inna bonuses, everyone get's 120% of that number?
