I'll be happy for that Llama dude who still plays it in 800x600. I'll purchase it, of course, but damn, I put soooo many hours into it, I hope it has some VERY updated graphics. It will probably just get the Warcraft III treatment. Yawn.
I feel as though the old Diablo fans of yore pushed Blizzard to care less and less about Diablo. They wanted a way to make money continuously through the auction house, fans blew up about it. I'm not saying the fans were/are wrong but without a revenue stream, why would Blizzard put more than a skeleton crew on this 4 year old game? If they put a $5 a month sub with guaranteed content, I'd be all for it, but I know most of the old school fans will blow up saying they didn't have to pay to play D1/D2.
TL/DR it makes more sense for Blizz to put their efforts into WoW and other games that have paid DLC than a game that does not support them as well. Duh.
BTW, I am 35 and have been a long time fan of Diablo, but I also understand the franchise needs to evolve to get the support we all want.
Yep, we may not see the jump we got in GR's as we got last patch but we will still rise because all classes are getting a buff especially when you add in the cube recipe Mikhail mentioned. Hype
So many great changes IMO. Dashing strike and whirlwind sets are a blast. Tal's is really good but kind of boring. I just started a DH so maybe someone else can comment on the Unhallowed set and changes to Nat's. Crafting is a lot faster which is really nice. Click on one object and your character will pick up all of the same type of object within so many yards making looting a breeze. A lot of old legs with new powers which is great. Yes, power seems through the roof. 42 was my previous best and now I am able to do a 50 with a monk and close to that with my barb. I'm having a blast in season 3.
This patch will be glorious. Had a lot of fun with wizard. Didn't try my monk due to the long wait times and the fact that my Raiment set is on a level 1 mule which would make me have to wait twice. Hopefully it's better today.
I came back to PC because I like to play multi with randoms a lot and that scene was lame as hell with all the hacked items and dupers on console. I enjoy the gameplay on console more too, so that sucks, but oh well.
Hey everyone! I'm encountering a glitch and can't find anything on it in the wiki. When I click on the stairs to Nowhere at the Arreat Summit I get the windows 7 error tone, my game freezes and I get an assertion error that closes Eastern Sun when I click on it. Anyone encounter this before? Do I have to reinstall ES and will I lose my progress if I do? Thanks for any help!

If only the Dark Souls style game didn't get canned. I would still want a true sequel, but an offshoot adventure would have been sweet!
