    @TS

    well i think the wizard's fire looking spell aka disintegrate deals arcane damage, so it could not be compared to fire based witch doctor spells

    if you guys tried torchlight, d3's wiz and the alchemist there bear a very close resemblance skill-wise

    i think i'll do a dps wizard

    wherein i'd prolly focus on the arcane tree, get arcane power, arcane weakness, arcane speed and penetrating spells

    for offensive magic i'd say slow time, then teleport out, and disintegrate the opponent inside, dps should be good, i'm expecting it to be as good as ember lance in torchlight, after all they look the same, and the damage should be above average considering arcane power, weakness and penetrating spells

    i'm expecting something good from the rune system

    Do you think the "electrocute" skill may be good/powerful??

    torchlight has a spell there called ember lightning and it basically is the same as electrocute, shooting a lightning bolt up and bounces to one target, it was weak in that game, but d3 has a more complex scaling system from the looks of it, and the storm spells have passives that increase spell damage and critical hit chance so i personally think it should be good if you're gonna focus on that skill tree
