posted a message on Transmogs from rg

So I have found a few transmogs off rift guardians. Found reapers kiss a few times wondering if anyone knows how many of the transmogs can drop off rg?

It's a fun break from grinding Grifts and rifts. I find myself always changing my transmogs every couple weeks or so. I care how my characters look. I think it's just whether that's in your nature to enjoy things like that. The same way I'm always changing the wallpaper on my desktop and some people leave the default wallpaper for years and don't give it a second thought. It's neither wrong or right.

Man i guess i'm a little ocd i hate it when getting an upgrade and then i have to transmog and dye all over again :P

I really think that some kind of announcement will be made at blizzcon. There is a lot of speculation going around about another expansion or a whole new game.

I don't think so. I think we'll get a relatively small 2.4.2 patch before Blizzcon and a huge preview of a 2.5+ patches at the event.

The reason why I say so is simple - based on the job postings (which sound like Blizzard is just hiring some really important people for the project) and Blizzard's history, their new game is most likely still in its infant stages, which means it's nowhere close to being ready to be announced (i.e. there's not a lot to show, there's not really to much to tell since probably most core systems are still on the drawing board, the delay between the announcement and any playable version would be too long). I think that new game is most likely like 4-5 years away in terms of release and at least 1-2 years away in terms of any announcements.

As for a D3's next expansions - well, I'm 99% convinced there won't be any. The job posting, people from D3 teams migrating to other projects, huge gap between RoS and now/potential release make it seem very unlikely.

Will the game die, though? Nah, I don't think so. I think they will provide the players with quite a lot of great patch content while we wait for another game in the Diablo franchise or at least until they are ready to announce it and openly admit they're done with improving D3 since there is this awesome, new game coming that they need to work on.

I suppose only time will tell. Damn it's a long time till November. For me any news would be welcome but Blizz has always kinda preferred the whole cloak and dagger approach to things

I don't see why people feel so inclined to play a game in a way other than the developers intended it. Violating tos is pretty much asking for a ban and to me that just doesn't seem worth it. Not really much of a competition when someone is using something to gain an advantage over someone who is playing the way things were intended. With that be said Blizz has allowed mods in other games. it really should be up to blizz to decide if they are ok with mods. it is intellectual property owned by blizzard after all not turbohud or anyone else.

posted a message on The future of D3

So i'm hoping to start a discussion of what the future is for d3 and the diablo universe in general? There is all kinds of speculation about whats happening/going to happen. Expansion? D4? I have also see people talk about d3 going into maintenance mode. D2 remake? I personally hope for an expansion because i feel like that it would be playable way before a whole new game. I feel like the way ros ended they definitely left room for another expansion or sequel. I had also had the idea at one point that a prequel would be pretty cool too revolving around the ancient nephalim and the creation of sanctuary. I'm really curious what the community thinks and what they want to happen?

I have spent years loving this series. Diablo has taken up a lot of my time over the years and I have enjoyed many a night battling in Sanctuary. The game as it currently stands has however gotten very stale for me. 2.4.0-2.4.1 brought little change. cosmetics are nice and all but not really a substitute for content. Once you hit end game all there is to do is push gr's and grind paragon. Item Upgrades come few and far between so basically all you are doing is lvling gems for augmenting and I personally am bored to death with D3 something I didn't think I would ever say. This game for me is currently on life support and without an expansion/new content/ new game whatever will soon be dead. The feeling of getting a "uber" drop just isn't there anymore and to me thats what Diablo was all about, now I can usually gear a char in a day or two with little effort. The "Birthday" announcement made me realize just how boring this game has become.

Since you have over 30k+ elites killed on your profile with under 300 paragons on PC, I would say you played D3V for some time. That is why I fail to understand how can you be bored of 2.4.1 state of the game compared to vanila game.
I say this only because you can get from lvl 1 to 300 paragons in 2-3h if you have a friend or two to boost you. And even with combined console XP, it is still 4-5 days of gameplay, if you spend 3-4 h per day doing mediocre grifts like 60 or so.
I have to conclude D3 might not be a game for you, or that you need a timeout.
BTW, uber drop is still uber, when you get near to perfect rolled ancient piece of gear its a fkn Christmas or something, even when using cube.
Anyway, gl, hopefully the game will get another RoS like DLC, maybe then you will enjoy it more...
You would be correct that i played alot of d3v i remember when para capped and wasn't shared getting all my chars to 100 took awhile. A lot of times i spent soloing since for me anyway lvls felt more earned when i did it myself rather than running with a group or being carried. Did actually get an uber drop last night got a sweet ancient inna's chest and yelled with glee for the first time in awhile. And i loved a lot of the changes made adventure mode was a pretty sweet addition I remember thinking how cool it was to be able to teleport from act boss to act boss. I really think something big is coming though i was noticing last night all the stuff that looks unfinished like the extra difficulty tabs that are blank also there is a little dot on items thats unfilled at first i thought it was to indicate whether or not an item was augmented but even augmented it reamains unfilled curious to know what it's actually for.

    You're still here? Huh.
Yah i'm still here probably will be for another 20+ years :P I can honestly say when someone asks me what my favorite game is I say Diablo and if they ask which one i say all of them. Just because I think there can be improvements made doesn't mean I'm going anywhere or that I stopped loving the game wouldn't be passionate about it if i didn't care. So people can attack me all they want because I don't agree with them and think this game can be better ,but hey if we ever see pvp I guess I got a some names to start with.
