    Going to read the other posts after this as wanted to get my thoughts down before reading. Rings and amulets already have a bit of choice not for sockets but as a whole, what does not is armour and pants where you go main stat or main stat some interesting legendary gems would make chest armour (in particular) more interesting.

    Having "set" gems wold also be possible the number of gems needed for each bonus can vary. Having quirky bonuses for 2 gems preferable over needing 5 or 6 for bigger bonus.

    Having something like this to make weapons (with some good new legs) more than just + damage, as some pointed out this would require a whole re-do of the items (what I was hoping for face-palm). I like the idea of needing more str for a 2H weapon or more dext for a shield but as with most other interesting mechanics they were all put in the to difficult box (as in the players are to dumb). Most likely if I bought the game I'd play a fair bit but at this stage I see what the game could be (check all the fan suggestions) and what it is. Ultimately making stats dynamic might require some thought when building a char so not a hope they will go for it.

    The keep level one side quest is where to get mighty weapon he has then nearly (or every time). I have got just the spirit stone to get, as some say oasis is best bet, I just check each NCP as they come along at some point one will have it.

    I'd change to Scoundrel for the 3 extra crit should help.

    On another note mob density looks dreadful, lets hope it gona get buffed.

    My thinking is that they have got to carried away with how "game changing" legs will be, CB if it comes back (?) will help but the game needs 3 or 4 more like that.

    Form the streams I see if the only stats that matter are main stat and vit and the way is separated to primary and secondary seems to make it even more boring. M y plan is to upgrade as much opf my current gear to keep the ias, crit, cd etc and change only the main damage (weapon) items and a few new legs when they drop.

    I know MF has been a bit mixed in D3V but at least it was SOMETHING else and now (standard) removed.

    So far out of arround 200 + items I have seen One that my wizz might want to use.

    Still playing the game and see some great changes in RoS, still very concerned with the itemization. This is one reason why currently I have some nice gear and in RoS it will be no good, that's fine if I could get updated versions of what I have now as well as the new stuff but they changed nearly all the items stats. Tals no longer has ias on chest etc etc the new items will only be upgrades because of the bigger numbers it's main stat vita central + some random "game changer". Legs can be game changers if they have 6 fixed interesting stats each one does not need an OP ability that will get nerfed. I was so looking forward to getting 2.0 steady strikers same stats but tuned for different lvl's, in reality what were getting is the same item name with new stats not up-lvl'd stats. Still many things look improved but the items are for me a big deal, and I don't see them cutting it for long.

    Good on ya, all I will say is plan roughly were your going but not to much detail big mistake people make having "to much" planned. You need scope for the unexpected and spontaneity.

    KingKongor It's quite likely he wont think of D3 or such like, ever on a trip like that.

    Some ideas after listening to the talk. 1H Sword = Insert Epic Name Here Your Attacks Per Second add to your resource generation also has a high aps (like chandos) So 1.50 Attacks Per Second = 1.5 Arcane Power per second this scales with aps. Each char has it's own scale to suite the resource. The basis for this is to provide an interesting option for high aps when some skills become less effective due to resource cost. 1H Sword = Insert Epic Name Here This sword will allow you to have 2 followers at the same time. That's all I got for now

    Any idea if this works with aoe skills or just a single target skills? Having the ability to improve the radius, damage and procs would make it very interesting.

    This sounds like great news the Cursed Chests may not have as many features as Nephalem Trials were intended to but having another thing to can't be a bad thing. No doubt it will be re worked later, I am interested to see what they will be adding great news.

    This should help towards the "end-game" many have been after.

    I like it more what I expected in D3 than the AH we got. If you can't find an item there is a way to get it but with more limits (other than just tax).

    Unfortunately I can't see them implementing anything like this.

    GDI Yes it is beta but that means it's a testing phase not implementing big new features time.

    Some interesting points, most I like.

    Making the Bounty's into drops would help make them more interesting, even without specific loot. Enter the game decide on where you want to farm half way threw a Bounty scroll drops you go in run it and once "completed" you are tp'd back to where you open the scroll.

    This brings a few things, you don't end up doing Bounty's endlessly, they would be an addition to normal farming not a replacement. Having matts or items that only drop there (and rifts) would make them exiting to use. At the moment they look random but don't feel it after x number of doing them

    Rifts sounds interesting, tho the Arena type would not be good for HC.
