Is it just me, or did they royally screw up Tristram? That abomination makes me want to cry.

The echo sounds really crappy, the oboe/clarinet sounds terrible and unfitting, the guitar part that used to kick Tristram into gear is now really slow as if the guitarist can't play it any faster. A ways in, the strings drown out the guitar.

I honestly have never been so revolted at a song in my life. This shakes my entire foundation of belief in Blizzard.

Part of what made Diablo so engaging and amazing was the dark, colorless world and the dark, shadowy dungeons. The world was being taken over by hell and demonic creatures. Such horrors made people go insane, and turned Farnham into a drunkard. I think that the way the art style made me feel was that my hero was constantly on the verge of losing it, being chased by huge butchers with diseased cleavers and horrific demons from hell. The style of the game not only made me think that way, but it also inflicted strong feelings of horror throughout playing the game. I only hope that Blizzard can make Diablo III to inflict similar feelings of horror.

About no one having attempted to find the artist who illustrated the evil penguin... I spent several hours after the signature was revealed looking through blizzard concept art, fan art, desktop wallpapers, google images, deviantart, and also attempted to find the names of artists who work for blizzard/on the Diablo projects to seek out their portfolios to attempt to find a similar signature. I didn't find anything.

What about Tal Rasha? In diablo 2, act 2, you're going after Tal Rasha until you enter the tomb and find Tal Rasha has fleed and you are left fighting Duriel.
