On the topic of SC Beta, there's something I can't quite remember.
I bought the internet livestream of Blizzcon 2009, does that give me a chance of getting in beta or not? Or was it only if you were actually there and got a physical key.

Don't worry man you're not alone. I sat there for like two minutes looking at it trying to figure out what made it unique from other keyboards. Then I read the keys... lol. -

I mean if its randomly chhosen between all the people who have a b.net account with atleast one game... It would be shit if a dude who has 1 game will get an invite and you, who got 5, wont....
He has as much of a right to beta SC2 if he wants to as you do. That "one game" might be WoW, and if it is then he just blew your 5 games outta the water.
Quote from "kairu" »and to seniri, I mean't no harm. but the size of Facebook combined with twitter is something to watch for. I do think they will solely slip updates by on these faster on their websites because of the ease. People Might want to pay lot more attention to them because somehow I was on facebook and saw that the second they posted and I almost shat my pants.
No worries, I was just saying this is here so we can discuss it, and I prefer that to some Facebook group where all my friends can see I'm online and never leave me alone. I rarely log on anymore, I hate talking to people. -

And everybody here has a Facebook and Twitter account, right? And we can discuss this over Facebook and Twitter as a DiabloFans community right? -

Feb 9, 2010Seniri posted a message on Female Monk UpdatePosted in: NewsQuote from "Grimson" »Shit, man. I swear sometimes western developers tend to really try to be the anti-thesis of japanese games many times.
Final Fantasy has their girly looking male characters but may a lightning bolt strike my head if I was the only one who thought that character art (not in game model) looks like a very masculine guy. It wasn't until I read "female monk" that I could see a lame excuse for breasts in the drawing, Seriously, what is with Blizzard's obsession for huge shoulder pads? Someone tell them to stop putting huge shoulder pads on everything. It's gaudy.
Was that you on Kotaku or are you just copying that post? That was me who asked if you're mentally challenged, and the question still holds. I love how breast-obsessed you are - just because they're not the size of watermelons she looks like a dude to you. That's sick. Move to Australia and leave us normal people alone, creep.
Edit: Link is to news article on Australia banning small breasts. -

I'm not sold on her looking anything like a monk especially the blonde hair.. wtf!? meh doesn't matter I have no interest in playing the monk class anyway... just barb and wizard for me, possibly a rogue if that's what the fifth class will be.
..are you sure that's the word you want to use there? -

I still dislike, but the concept pic on the page looks a little better than the first ones we saw. -

But back on the original topic I hope they leave it with just gold, no bronze/silver. I don't mind if stuff costs me 12,000 gold, it's an awesome number. Just change it so you don't lose 100k+ when you die >.>

Bwaha not you lol! I'm using your quote since you said pretty much what I said and further proves my point that there isn't much difference in armor in D2.
Which is a good thing, if you read what I was saying yesterday I was asking if anybody knew if each piece of armor will be displayed properly, unlike in Diablo 2.

We came to that conclusion yesterday, thanks. I understand exactly what you said. Look at what Jeru5 said:
THAT is what I was saying before. My entire point was, "In Diablo 3, shit is 3D so will equipping new gear change our appearance." We're both saying the same thing pretty much, learn to fucking read.

..I like that idea, capes with no stats! Completely optional for those who hate cloaks and stuff. We all know you cloak haters are out there, lurking.

Yeh I assume they will, I just wonder what form it'll take.

I still don't think you get it. I do not care that there are only three (read: six) "outfits" in Diablo 2. I DO care if there will only be three (read: six) outfits in Diablo 3. If an item in D3 looks similar to another item, sure, same skin. But if you go from one type of armor to another and they keep them looking the same to save time designing, IMO that's not cool. Not cool at all. Do I make sense yet?

D2 = tons of trading. People make games just to go and trade. What I want to know is will D3 have .. ladder specific trade hubs, if that makes sense. Kinda like Guild Wars, in a city you see other players, but when out of a city you're by yourself unless grouped. Same with (shudder, don't impale me) Hellgate: London - in a station you could see all other players. I can't see it being a bad idea... unless they don't find a way to get rid of the spammers.

Man that made me think of a Barb critting something with a nice 2h maul, blood EVERYWHERE, muscle and bone churned into wallpaper. In the gameplay videos the blood seems good, but maybe a little less would be perfect. The new Monk screenshots seemed a little over the top though.

Still, that's only 6 different appearances in a game with hundreds of items. Do you honestly not understand what I'm trying to say? I used the number "3" loosely, I could have googled it and said 6, but I'm too lazy - but three or six, if they copied that into D3, I'd be pretty mad and I'm sure others would be too. With the tech and the games people are churning out these days, 6 different appearances for hundreds, thousands of items, would be inexcusable. Ten years ago? Sure, why not.
And as for "replay it man" look to your left, you can get me in game with that info.

I assure you I'm not thinking of Diablo 1. What I mean is, there are three armor "looks" in D2. No armor. Light armor. Plate. There are different colors based on set/item/gems, whatever. There are different helmets, yeah - skull, mask, Barb helmets, Druid helmets, they all look different, but for your torso everything looks the same.
