Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient RepositoriesQuote from...They also seem to have converted frozen orb into a magic orb now, (with a difference it explodes on contact). maybe frozen orbs/firewalls/chain lightning might make a comeback in tier 5? Tier four still doesn't seem as destructive as d2s level 30 skills
I hope they do bring back Frozen Orb of some sort because I loved the Ice talent tree but to think of Blizzard being the strongest skill in it makes me second guess choosing that.
Back to the original poster, I must say that those skill runes are badass and I can't wait to see more of them. Although I wonder if every rune can attach to any skill? Multi-strike<>Whirlwind?

I agree that Enigma was a complete joke of a runeword. And as for sets, just get rid of them. They are either underpowered, overpowered, or not worth getting if they are the same. No matter what way you go with sets they just don't fit well.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Being anxious and excited as we all are here definitely adds to the waiting time, but this is the first time that I can remember that so many people come together for a game announcement and contribute ideas to the developers which, even if they are not all used, are noticed.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I think D3 will meet and surpass everyone's expectations, definitely worth the wait (to reiterate what everybody said already lol)

Glad to join this website, definitely seems the most legitimate of all that I've checked. And no, I haven't lurked here before signing up, I want the full experience. lol.Posted in: Introduction

Thanks for the info on the play max per game, I really don't have a problem with 6, although I think 4 limits PvP chaos as well as teamwork, especially when there are 5 classes...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
My thoughts now about this gold thing are that, if gold were used as a real currency for player-to-player trading of any type, then level capping would be extremely rewarding and to some seem unbalanced (even though everyone has the opportunity to level cap). Among all the players that are level capped and have easy access to larger amounts of gold, they would be willing to pay more for items, therefor making those items harder to obtain for players who aren't willing to do the tedious leveling from 90-99/100.
It still stands as a great idea, but with it there needs to be some balance on whether gold is used as a player-to-player currency and how much gold level-capped players receive (obviously).
*Edit* Sorry to repeat the topic of balancing gold that was mentioned above, didn't realize how popular this thread had become lol.

I think the exp/gold idea is a good one. Level capping should offer other rewards, too. Something that alters your appearance or maybe gives you a title before your name (higher than Patriarch/Matriarch).Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
This is getting a little off-topic now, but I think in general there should be rewards for every player type. Some people that are only into PvP should maybe get titles every 1000 people they kill or something, and in PvE make some extremely tough optional bosses which can only be killed with 8 people that offer achievement titles kinda like in WoW I guess.
Sorry to get off topic, although my suggestions might be "possibly good" as well... i hope. (Also, sorry if I repeated any ideas)

Sorry if this forum is dead already, but I couldn't find any authentic sites to post about D3 clans.Posted in: Guilds and Clans
I would like to either form or join a clan, whether it's legitimized by a new guild system or just adding the clan tag in character names. I played D2 for a long time and am very familiar with all facets of the game. I'd prefer to make/join a clan more PvP oriented, which to me includes helping each other gear up and lvl in order to have effective PvP builds, so maybe all-round would be a better way to describe what I'm looking for.
It might not sound like it so far into my post, but I'm not die-hard about being the best, but I do love the series and haven't had the same fun with any MMO since I played D2. I figure it's never too early to prepare, and if we could get a good group of 5-15 players to be leaders then we could definitely get a good jump on the game by playing together when it comes out. I do read a lot about how the game is more co-op oriented so this might be a good idea for that reason alone...
If other people would like to form a clan with me let me know, I'll bookmark this thread and check regularly.
I don't care if there's no release date yet, this game will be the best game I'll have played in a long time when it comes out... Thanks for reading.
Edit: I play US-West servers, am not currently on D2 so contact me on here.
