posted a message on Lashing tail kick build help?

I have a SWK LTK build from 2.4 and 2.4.1 ptr. Almost everything ancient using Istvans blades. Highest I got was GR 64. cant get much higher then that I'm afraid. The problem is not so much survivability (save for reflect dmg affix with 4set clones), it's that the set does not do enough dmg to beat the timer. Maybe with insane ranks of Caldesann's on everything might get me higher(though probably not by much). Very fun build. But is in need of a serious buff.

Here is what you need on your shopping list:

SWK 6 set (using RoRG in Cube) SWK helm is replaced by Gyana Na Kashu

    Istvan's blades

    Kyoshiro's Soul (belt)

    Spirit Guards (bracers)

Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac & Convention of Elements(rings)

    Rivera Dancers(boots)

In Cube: Vengeful Wind - Cindercoat - Ring of Royal Grandeur

You guessed it - This is a Fire build

    Skills:

    1. Lashing Tail Kick - Vulture claw kick or Spinning Flame kick rune (pick your fancy)

    2. Mantra of Salvation - Agility rune

    3. Dashing Strike (pick whatever rune you like here since not affected by spirit) I use either cold or fire rune.

    4. Sweeping Wind - Inner Storm Rune (unfortunately, you need the spirit regen of the holy rune instead of using fire rune for %element dmg)

LC. Way of the Hundred Fists - Fists of Fury rune(another holy rune but this one has a purpose)

RC. Epiphany - Desert Shroud rune

Legendary Gems: BotT, Gogok of Swiftness, and Bane of the Stricken

Passives: The Guardian's Path, Beacon of Ytar, Harmony, and Exalted Soul (yes I play SC, whateves)

    Playstyle:

Pop Epiphany on CD and spam LTK weaving in WotHF every sec or so to keep stacks up and spirit regen. Also while doing that with Epiphany popped, you get to teleport to targets allowing you to be very mobile and avoid stuff. Build is quite tanky, usually I have around 400mil toughness with spirit guards, Istvans stacked to 5 and epiphany (450mil if I pop Mantra on top of that). Vulture claw kick might be a little better then Spinning Flame kick because the Dot mechanic will help you maintain sweeping wind stacks(same with fist of fury rune from WotHF)

CDR: should be around 40 - 41%. With Gogok at 15 stacks Epiphany should be ready to go again b4 the first one wears off (depending on mob density)

%fire on bracers and Ammy (if possible) SWK ammy is hard to get good rolls. ( I just got lucky)

LPH on at least 1 of the 2 swords. not sure how good LPSS is. but this build does go through a ton of spirit. Try LPH on one blade and RCR on the other.

RCR should be as high as you can get it without sacrificing other important stats. I'm at 31.44%

Spirit regen: 13/sec (with SW stacks up)

    Paragon:

Core - Speed,Max spirit, Vitality and Dex

Offense - CDR, Atk speed, CHC, CHD

Defense - All Resist, Armor, Life, Life regen

Utility - RCR, Area Damage, LoH, Gold Find

I think thats it. I hope I didn't miss anything. I've currently moved on to trying a SWK 6 TR build(which seems a bit stronger on the dmg if not a bit squisher then LTK build)

posted a message on [SPOILERS] PTR 2.4 Demon Hunter Set Dungeons

I just "mastery" cleared the Shadow's Mantle set Dungeon. Impale requirements have changed. For me on Season 5 PTR it was "chain 15 Impale kills 5 times" so don't miss your Impale throws and your fine. (might have to dismiss your follower or pets if they are killing stuff in between impale hits)

    Tips:

Arcane immunity amulet works wonders. ( can just stand in all arcane sentries and the arcane orbs.)

Karlei's Point(dagger) with lightning rune on Impale. hatred management is key. I would basically 1 shot initial target and the next 1 or 2 targets would be low health but with my follow up impales, I get hatred back and chain 1-2 more. it was a non stop chain reaction to keep hatred up. I basically rarely had to use preparation or active skill Bat companion. but I did use bat companion for passive.

Fleet Footed passive( you want to be able to move fast between targets/packs)

Ambush passive (since you are going to 1 shot everything anyway, why not put it over the top) may not need it but what do you have to lose. best to be safe then sorry. some elites took 2 hits if I didn't crit on first hit.

It took a few tries and some tweeking, but I did this at around paragon 50 with non optimal gear and no legendary gems.
