I had the same problem, however, after being in Act II, I Logged in to find myself on the fallen star quest in the first Act. I didn't know it was possible for a hacker to eliminate my progress in the game as well. Anyone else?

Don't know if this has happened to anyone else, so I thought I'd mention it. Loaded up D2 tonight....I've played it since the ladder reset, and had no problems.

This time, though, it's no longer in windowed mode, and any sound not related to the music isn't playing.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Too bad it isn't a little bigger though. Granted, it's still my background on my desktop...lol

At least they weren't too bad with a Necro though. With the necro, stygian midgets took the cake. I had a personal rule. If you're going through 3 consecutive rooms in the Durance, with no contact with a monster, it means you should be dying from about 20 Stygians in about.....oh....

Least Likely cause of death in Diablo 2?

Diablo.

Just wanted to toss one out there.

So I'm rockin through Kurast with the Hammerdin, and I had to hit up the sewers for the brain.....I think it was the brain....it's one of the 3.

Anyway....So I don't know about anyone else, but I HATE going through the sewers....hell, I'm not a fan of Act III before Kurast, but I really, REALLY hate the sewers....don't know why..probably the annoying as all hell monsters I've gotta fight around every corner.

Well...speaking of every corner.

I go around one.

Then another.

Then I swerve.

Then another.

I must have covered half the map.

And not a single, solitary bat, zombie, skelly, or anything else that could possibly piss me off.

I literally walked through, untouched, completely alone, until I got to the chest on lvl 2.

Has that ever happened to anyone else? I mean, if it was an odd bug, I'll take it. I'm sure it'll never happen again, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had ever seen that before.

I've actually had decent success with gheed, but I generally stick to circlets, amulets and rings....
