I like it. It makes you feel powerful. I remember in Titans Quest the more powerful you were in comparison to the monsters you were killing, the stronger the 'moon effect' would become. That's a great way to make you feel stronger, as a player. Keep it up.
That's fine with me. I've been waiting about 10 years for Diablo 3. I want it right and as perfect as it can be. A few more months? Yes, I'm anxious, but I would rather have a game I have been expecting than something pushed out the door. I've played games with rushed release dates only to be very disappointed. Blizzard never does that, and I for one appreciate that aspect of their philosophy. My friends and I have conjured up our own expectations of Diablo 3 before it was announced, and needless to say we have high expectations for every aspect of this game. To me it's more than just a game, it's re-living the past with my friends. Where we all hopped on battle.net and slayed some monsters and searched for gear. Looking back, those were some great moments in our lives. I want Diablo 3 to be able to capture that essence as well. So, if it takes a little more time to be capable of meeting or exceeding my expectations, then please take the time to do it.
Looks like I am staying up past MIDNIGHT!! I just have to work a 14 hour shift the following morning UGH
If only we had snow days in Arizona I could get out of this
Good podcast guys like always:
1. I like that Diablo will be casual. Its so much more enjoyable to me and my buddies when we are laughing at our abundant power, or bragging about our trades
2. Starcraft honestly stresses me out and gives me the adrenaline shakes when its a really good match-up. I ask myself before I sit down and play Starcraft 2, "Do I have time to warm up, do I feel on my game today, are my timings right? Ok I guess I'll play one game, lose, rage quit, anddddddd read the Diablo Fans forums." Its a great game, just soooo INVOLVED
3.Wow n/a sorry MMORPGers Im sure there is enough of you out there to fill in this blank
I'd give you my copy of borderlands but its on my steam account. AND i think it takes longer than 5 minutes to beat the game so its not as "obvious" as you think. Anyway, i find myself arguing with 16 year old boys over games to be quite useless
Actually Borderlands never gets boring, with the expansions and the level cap increase coming up. If you don't like it... you have no input here, cuz youve obviously got some issues than need worked out.
LOL.
1 The story line is probably the worst ive experianced and I beat the entire game and expansions in NO TIME AT ALL!!
2 Online play is pretty much unplayable unless you use third party software
3 BUGS everywhere!
4 Inventory is small
5 Replay value is terrid with class specifications NOT that useful
6 I reached max level before I realized it..
7 Who are u? I have input here thank you very much
I would recommend Borderlands if you want to play something for a month or 2 with your friends. But other than that, don't waste the 50 bucks.
I suggest Dragon Age Orgins if your looking for something that is in depth and different
Borderlands got boring after you find the "vault." I'm sorry but i only need D3 or SC2 to satisfy my cravings. Dragon Age was good for a few weeks until i went back to playing Tribes 2 and old DOS games..
#78. Your health has been reduced to 1 point due to being poisoned, instead of turning back for town you press on eventually kicking a trapped barrel.. *BOOM* RIP
