posted a message on PTR 2.4 Witch Doctor - Zunimassa Pet Build (underwhelming, set needs a buff)

I tried dropping TMF and used ring of emptiness/SMF with SMK and Wyrmwood RoRG MoJ in cube.Downside is i have to spawn haunt but ive always much preferred a flat damage increased as opposed to waiting for CoE to land on my preferred element. The way I look at it if its cycling 4 elements and I do poison damage then its really not 200%ed its more like 50%ed. With this setup BBV is always up and then I can use Hacylon/strongarm to perma cc/debuff mobs. My main damage output are gargs using restless giant and they do serious damage with the new reduced cooldown on enrage. Even with all this I definitely agree that the build is still way too squishy. Another problem with the build is how much your damage is spread out. It helps being able to re-place your fetishes but it just takes longer to drop certain monsters.

I think it's usable for caster Helltooth due to the mana regen, but that's about it.

Yeah. This is what makes me really sad. Before greater rifts were even a thing I was running Well of Souls and having a complete blast. It was like playing with a soul machine gun. I was so excited to see this dagger come into play but like I said before, the dagger alone isnt enough to make the skill viable as a primary damage dealer. This is a complete shame seeing how every other Decay skill is either a must have debuff or primary damage dealer.

If spirit barrage was only included in Helltooth or something then the skill would be viable again. Think of the gameplay mechanics that would open up if Phantasm and Phlebotomize were viable skill choices. You would see WD's stacking soul aoe's on mobs or using the fire-and-forget version rune to add extra dps while channeling another skill.

MeatHead your one of the more vocal WD players on the forums. Maybe you could make a video talking about this and other under used skills so maybe Blizz can make some adjustments before the patch goes live? Voo's, as it is right now, just seems like a wasted opportunity.

I'm really glad blizzard took some time to give spirit barrage a much needed boost in dmg and relevance but even with a full LoN setup the skill barely pushes 1bil dps. Unfortunately there are still just better primary dmg skills to use for witchdoctors. The skill itself either needs a huge boost to damage or needs to be included in core sets like Helltooth to receive the damage boost.

Frankly I'm a bit fed up with these AAA title releases. Last game I waited years for and picked up a midnight release was Battlefield 3, and that was a D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R. It was a shame to see the same happen with this game. This industry is taking a turn for the worse imo. I understand that these games are a huge production and they're dealing with millions of different pc configurations and internet networks, but maybe they could of rolled back some of the art production on Mojos and supported some of the more core functionality of this product.

I wont be buying any expansions until the same level of polish seen in the art direction is apparent in core elements like UI design, AH, item balancing, mega hp 1 shot mode (inferno difficulty).

posted a message on Free Teleport every 0.51s
i always interpreted this as infinite teleport, depending on mana pool...

It states that you have a 1 second delay before the cooldown begins. If you cast teleport again, given the runestone, it will grant a 1 second delay before cooldown just as before. Allowing the skill to be used multiple times in a row.

their giving you the option to tailor teleport towards the d2 end of the spectrum, with sacrifices of course.

posted a message on NEW Skill/Rune System - Feedback
I agree with some of these points.

Having "leveling points" to put towards specific skills' specific runes would be welcomed. I'm not liking how runes unlock for me as it is now, jumps around skills and may even unlock on skills i have no interest in using.

I also do not like the new skill/rune UI at all. It's not very intuitive for a mouse, having to tab through these new skill categories time consuming, and its not easy to know where certain skills fall under right off the bat. It seems very console-ish to me, and I enjoyed the "cluster" design it was before.

posted a message on A Tribute to Diablo
To make a long story short, games like Diablo 2 made me want to be an artist. All I did was play it with my friends during high school. I made this as a tribute to my long lasting interest in Blizzard's world.

I received my BFA in Illustration in 2008.

I hope you all enjoy this image! Thanks.

    Gukuuji the Stygian Arachnid

    Lore:

In the deepest, darkest pits of the Underworld, in the farthest reaches of planar existence where hell is blanketed in hurricanes of fire, the most wretched of monsters feast on the fear and suffering of human minds. Here in the burning valleys of damnation, split by the infernal river of flame, networks of caverns, carved out by ancient tides of molten lava, house tormented souls bound in fetid webbing, hallowed of their innards. The bodies hang mangled, flesh seared from sulfuric acids and perforated by razor sharp appendages. Underneath the moans and groans of these lost souls, a single phrase can be deciphered amongst the sea of murmurs,

    "Beware.....beware..the Gukuuji....beware...."

The legend of Gukuuji was first recorded in the city of Travincal in Kurast, where the Zakarum devotees were tasked with cataloging the major demons of hell for future crusades. During their investigations, many followers began losing their minds, claiming that the spiders of the forest were tormenting them. They were ultimately driven to commit acts of violence against their brethren, going mad from their attempts to uncover details of the demon. The Gukuuji capitalized on the fears of the disciples studying him, finding a foothold in their perception of reality and corrupting it. This sinister manipulation was the Gukuuji's only opportunity to completely possess their spirits and gain entry into Sanctuary. In a final act of desperation, the Zakarum ended all investigations of the infernal Gukuuji, sealing away any documentation in a futile attempt to protect the minds of men from knowing of his existence.

    Mechanics:

The Gukuuji is a major demon, a rank below that of a Lesser Evil. He is the Lord of Torment, a title earned by his viscous acts committed on the lost souls of the Underworld. Gukuuji actually has little hit points, for his carapace is not as thick as it may seem. He relies on his webbing and acidic saliva to trap and overwhelm his foes. His speed is ferocious, using his lack of armor as a mobility enhancement. The Gukuuji will never battle an opponent face to face, he uses range, traps, and knowledge of the surrounding tunnels to ambush his foes.

-Thanks to Diablofans for this amazing opportunity to create art for one of my favorite games! It's good to see so many submissions from all the users on the forum. There were a lot of great ideas!
