I think it would be pretty neat to have a map creator in Diablo 3 like both WarCraft 3 and StarCraft II have. To add triggers and variables and stuff. WarCraft 3's Map Edit was pretty easy to make RPGs in, and StarCraft II got a little more complicated, but naturally in Diablo 3 this would be the point of it, unless people take out the leveling system and do crazy stuff (like they already have in StarCraft II (an FPS))
You can't heal up mid-boss-fight, so they'll need to send lots of crap at you so you a) don't die, or disregard the fodder and still attack the boss and die quicker.
I've had my ATI HD 4870s since Christmas 2008, and they run everything in about 100-300 fps. I do need a new processor though, because I record all sorts of stuff with Fraps. I'm looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115202, it's a 2.66 ghz quad-core for pretty darn cheap. I don't want to praise it any more or this will seem like spam : (
I don't know what country the guys who're moaning about Win7 being "loads of money" are from, but here in the U.K at least, you can get a perfectly legitimate Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit upgrade version for £57.99. Or, if you're seriously tight-assed, you could go for Windows 7 Professional 32-bit Upgrade Edition, for £42.95, almost as cheap as some games, and definitely cheaper than some "Collector's Edition" crap. Seriously, do some research before writing it off.
...and I've yet to come across any program that simply does not work in 7. Not a one. Any time a prog has caused grief, the littlest bit of tweaking has fixed it.
...aaaand, 7 runs several magnitudes better than Vista, in any given PC. I had installed a pre-release we received from MS through the partner program, on a machine in work, and was gob-smacked to see how well it ran. The PC was a Sempron 2400+, with 512MB RAM, and an old, clunky 40GB Maxtor heap-o-crap HD. A 5-year-old PC, and a not-so-hi-spec one at that.
World of Warcraft runs on 1.5gb of memory with all but shadow settings maxed. I refuse to keep the shadow settings in Diablo 3 below max. It won't show miles of land, so it shouldn't take over a GB.
Lot more votes to release it ASAP than I thought there would be. You want to play a broken game? Hahaha. Buy Modern Warfare 2 and see an unpolished unfinished beta-less game. And 2011 is more-than-likely incorrect, I don't know why people put dates to games that clearly will take more time. When I say "games" I mean "Blizzard games."

Maybe you could have a level cap of 300, and like, be able to buy higher level skills. So "Smush" will have a rank of 9/5 but after that high you'll have spent like a billion gold.

You should upgrade your processor first. Probly expensive but 2.5 blows. I have a 2.7 and that is really bad. However I make up for it with awezome video cards!
What if "W", instead of meaning "go forward" it means "go towards the mouse". Your character rotates if you move the mouse around him, he's always facing it. So the "A" and the "D" don't rotate, but strafe left and right. Of course this has a lot of disadvantages, specially when the mouse is below the char (left and right would get confusing), but it's a way of using WASD without the need to rotate the camera.
I think this is just great. And one guy, the really angry one, made me realize why this is great... K, so you want to have your hand on the mouse, and push W to move to where your mouse is?
