Definitely Torchlight II (provided it's released soon). Skyrim is looking sweet too. And if I get my hands on the beta, I'll probably enjoy it for at least a month.
I'd also like to flip some tables...

I'm not sure what you're saying.
If a weapon does 200 damage on hit, with a 2 second swing speed, it would have 100 dps.
An ability that does 150% weapon damage would do 300 damage with this weapon. Granted it would likely be at a slower speed than using a weapon that does 100 damage per hit every 1 second (which would do 150 damage per ability use), but per-resource it would be more efficient to use the slower weapon.
While slower weapons might be more resource efficient, faster weapons might increase resource availability.

You should probably re-read the quote in your sig a few times.

That is, until I step in the door of my house, then its time to arrange for work from home for the rest of the week!

AND MY INTERNET NEVER WENT DOWN.
You are not allowed to complain about lack of internet access when natural disasters do not interrupt service.

I think that the humans of sanctuary, being literal demon-spawn, would be next on the hit-list once the actual demons were destroyed.
In the name of Order of course, but still.
Edit: Both sides would try and off the humans after the other is defeated. I become a necromancer and choose Tran-Oul, telling them both to @#%# off in the process.

Games went multiplayer is what happened.
People make people want to look (which is a substitute for 'be') better than other people.
Once more than one person could be in a game at a time, status symbols became important. Video game companies are just responding to demand. (oh god i'm supporting corporations, someone get an exorcist!)

Closed minded? I dunno, it seems like he gave them a fair shot, and over time his attachment/enjoyment of their community lessened so he left.
He also didn't say that their opinions were wrong, just that he didn't like the opinions held by the general membership of that community; nor did he try to impose his point of view on anyone, as far as we know (it would be interesting to see if stating one's opinion is considered "imposing" it).
Judgement is a necessary action of the human mind. Understanding what reasons you have for making a particular judgement allow you to cultivate good (or at least better) judgement. I haven't spent too much time on incgamers (although i remember the site layout from a few cahracter build guides for d2) so I can't say one way or the other anything about Flux, but the diablofans staff seem fairly level headed and willing to examine a variety of perspectives.

Those questions? No. They aren't analogous questions though.
Does money spent on coaches/trainers/equipment effect the scores of games? Yes.
Does that make any of the people playing in those games anything less than the best of the best (for the pro leagues)? No.
Does the fact that some players have more resources to spend on training or equipment make the game less enjoyable when you are playing 2 hand touch with your family on a family get together? I would hope not.

So are football, basketball, baseball, hell the stock market is a game.
If you are enjoying what you're doing money is an afterthought.
