I'm gonna do the witch doctor, get the stash tab, and then go back to playing Grim Dawn and other ARPGs.

UkrainianProtein posted a message on Your class in season 7?Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionI was really moist when I saw the kick monk, but then I tried it and it was just too hard to play. Managing your sweeping wind and CDRs and I just couldn't do it right. So like last season where I played a wiz first if I remember right and regretted it hard, I'll be sticking with DH and selling cache runs, rift runs and loot sharing runs for FG.

EU servers are notorious for terrible wait times & not being able to handle the player load at the start of the season. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the NA or Asian servers though.

Having said that, the best build I've seen published so far would have to be Bluddshed's DMO 4-set GR20 clearing guide & build: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/78184-2-4-1-dmo-gr-20-wizard-starter-build#c3 - the build is better than anything else I've tried or come up with, but it's still not great. It took me 5 attempts and advice from people over at Reddit before I realised the best way to clear a GR20 was to concentrate on scooping up and killing large volumes of white trash, then teleporting/rushing to the next mob. Just do the same until the RG. The main issue is that this is clearly the best build in terms of surviveability & damage, but when critting you dont even hit for 1million damage & the RG of a GR20 has upwards of 250mil health. You have to get the RG with minutes to spare & then fish for an RG that is able to be kept in the slow time permanently, in order to have enough time to cut him down.
Once you have the 6-piece set, Desolacer put up a nice video guide for how to pair up a good number of different legendaries to push on up to 4 different strong T7 clearing builds, still using the DMO 6-piece set as a base and a mix of yellows and legendaries: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YtcFgPWV0s - The legendary items he suggests to use are all easy to craft or upgrade & also common drops. Once you have the full 6-piece set, you should be able to upgrade to any of the builds he suggests in about 4-6 rifts (T4-T6) worth of drops. It get's a lot easier from that point onwards, then.

The LON Bomb Crusader build is easily the best & fastest to farm paragon with solo, at higher GR levels.
I'm running GR75's at the moment with my character in 6-7mins. I still need the shoulders and chest (using ancient alternatives currently) and I need proper rolls on half my set pieces as well, still. I'm not even at Paragon 800 yet, either. You can farm XP even better in solo by just running the highest GR you can manage & clear out the white trash, then quit when the rift guardian appears. Seems a bit of a silly strategy, but in terms of XP an hour, nothing beats it when you start pushing past GR78, as the XP from killing anything at those levels is just massive. I'm at about 780 paragon and just clearing out white trash in a GR80 rift solo is giving me about 2 and a half paragon levels every 10min.

It's been said 1000 times over already, D3 is not a competitive game, it was never meant to be & it was never made to be. It's a game of chance, with layers upon layers of RNG dictating almost everything, requiring more and more time to marginally improve things. Leaderboards are completely meaningless & even if botting and exploiting didn't exist in the game, that would still be the case because everything is pure RNG mixed with how much of your life you are wasting on grinding. People in here get into debates that are amazing levels of autistic, completely missing the point that it's not a balanced or skill based game at all. You progress purely on the items that drop and their stats & that's it. The chance of that stuff dropping and rolling right is pure luck. The game is competitive in the same way as 10,000 people standing in a room and tossing a coin at the same time to see who is "best" at landing on one side.
It's all pointless anyway, considering that due to Calderon's, botters will just raise all Leg Gem's to 90+ and apply them via
Calderon's on their near-perfectly rolled set pieces, leading to them still dominating all and any leaderboards regardless of competitive paragon limiting.
There is and has only ever been 1 solution to botting, and that is for Bliz to implement a proper & regular detection/ban system. But they wont & never will, so the entire issue is completely and utterly pointless to waste your time being bothered about.
