posted a message on How will all skills be useful?
Sorry if i missed this being discussed somewhere.

Lets say each skill has a 20 point limit.

So by level 20 you could have one skill maxed out thats meant to be good for late game.

Or they wont let you max it out until a certain level which will make you horde your points or may even force you to use other skills.

Of course there are passives..... Which somehow i just remembered. :P

i absolutely detest this idea as it gives you no sense of lvling up and getting to more epic skills. Not only that, but there had better be a good few passive skills in the mix, because i don't want to be using 10 different skills as i play, that's just too much.

There are a lot of passives. Just look up diablo 3 skill trees on google to see them.( I think only the barbarian tree is complete)

See the problem is lets say your skill is maxed out a level 10. Well if all skills are useful at level 10 you would be overpowered for late game. Well maybe not because we don't know how fast we will level.

We need More Info to discuss this.

I personally think there will be a tab you click that lists all of the skills. And they are all ready to use on level one. Part of making every skill useful.

But they DID NOT copy wow's art style... even if you are just saying... I just wanted to make sure and say that out loud.

And it is wrong to copy an art style... Why would anyone want that -.-

Of course they didn't. That wasn't the point of my post. :P

Nothing wrong with using an art style from the SAME COMPANY.
especially if that art style/game made you billions of dollars.

But I already made 2 previous post that disprove any similarities of art by posting actual screen shots from both games. :D

What can be better then smashing zombies (that are copy pasted) in full daylight near a superb waterfall. Speaking of reality i see blizz are trying very hard to make this game a very logically one, all creatures haves a background some of them even history but at least make the whole game logically not just a part of it they didn`t realized that undead drops gold. Don_guillotine from the looking of your sig i see you don`t mind bright colorful animated and cute things so i will not argue with you any furthure, this will make you happy maybe:

And by the way Vnom thats the worst wow example you could pick try this one:

Lol ultimate fail. That wow screenshot you posted looks way different than the d3 you posted above and the d3 I posted. Plus this is about the scenery not the colorful animals.

I choose bad example? wow fail again. Guess what!!! the example I selected is a very large area in wow.

But I will humor you by posting more areas from wow and diablo 3 first starting with wow.

    DIablo 3 time.

Um, actually I made it happen in Torchlight. I added the health globes to the D3 mod I am working on (the one you saw on youtube. Now building the dungeon takes time, but when it will be ready you'll be able to enjoy.

DO you have download link to health globe mod...:O

How do you people miss so much of the important news.

Each player gets there own item drops, so no click fest.

All you have to do to get gold is to walk over it....(auto luting would still be cool)

I love the idea to only make rares, uniques, visible with click of button. ^_^
