Wooo!
I don't play D2 anymore but anything they increase in that will likely have some sort of effect on D3 (hoping!).
Big ups to sssuply! <3

Emilemil1 I guess as long as the shoulder pads dont look like this I will be happy.
So this post doesnt get deleted...
Man those skill tree's make me want to have sexual intercourse with a oak tree of similar awesomeness. -

And with that focus you automatically "had" to chose the mastery.
I had a nova sorc back in the day, it owned hell cows.
Anything we say about the changes they make are in context with Diablo2 which is a completely different game. I trust blizzard to make a fair and balanced game, they haven't let me down yet (well maybe with WOW but I blame that mostly on vivendi's greed). -

Im guessing you've never accidentally hit the wrong talent when you were hastily getting rid of the level up menu?Quote from "interception" »Well I'm sure it wont be a problem :]
I forsee nerd-rage if they don't include a "oops, misclick!" button to undo my frequent misclicks.
(Or make it so you have to be out of combat to mess with your charpoints/skills) -

I liek everything put infront of me.
What if they made the skill trees look like actual trees made out of skills? How kewl would that be!
(They could even be really colourful with rainbow's criss-crossing them!) -

Like I said I wasn't present for a release. That was how it was explained to me.Quote from "Icesong" »Don't know where you're getting "totem" from: http://www.mmo-champion.com/index.php?page=863
Quote from "Azylium" »What I don't like about this is not that you're voicing your opinion, but rather that you seem to think that D3 has been more casualized.
Respeccing your skill tree so you don't really have to be that focused on building a character as if you make some dumb choices you can just undo it later on (RPG = Respec Playing Game?)
Bright colourful graphics that remind me of cross between wow and titans quest... nope nothing to make me think its casualized here. -

Why? I dont exactly know, but seriously, taking basically icons out of another game just doesnt sound right (unless the same series) if you get what i mean.
Said it better than I can.
That petition against the art development in d3 has surpassed 60,000 fyi.
Im just worried about all the wow-fags storming over and casualising D3 more than it already has been.
WOW didn't start off gay... it became that way from its casual-centric user base. -
May 12, 2009StoneOfJordan posted a message on Bashiok on "Skill Trees" in Diablo 3.Posted in: NewsQuote from "Letyuk" »it'd be good to have 2 different builds avaible like in wow for 1000g
In wow it cost 5gold for your first respec and it went up by 5g everytime you did it (maximum 50g).
Waiting a week with the same spec will decrease your respec costs by 5g, and continues week after week.
In WOW it was just to easy to respec, especially with dailyquests available. If you had no gold to respec you could just hop on your epic flying mount and in 15-25 minutes have enough gold to respec.
Way to easy IMO and thusly no comparisons should be made to WOW->D3 respeccing as it is just to easy to do.
Im thinking they should make you have to wait a week to respec again (flat rate) and you should have to complete some sort of quest or hard task in order to respec.
EDIT:
Apologies, are you referring to the respec totem? It wasn't around when I was on WOW, but I did hear about its development.
It is a relic or item you would hold or use and it would have a spec already programmed into it forgoeing a traditional respec?
I loved the idea when I was a paladin switching for holy->ret 3 times a day but for Diablo3 it deffinatly doesnt fit. -

Yep.
The graphic style (colourful/bright), the style of gear (big shoulder pads), the ability to respec, the skill trees look and the yellow question mark 'quest indicator'.
All of it heavily reminiscent of WOW.
And I fucking hate WOW (specially the community). -

Ya, just makes it so you have to deal with level ups outside of combat as you are blind when doing so, they could always make the panel see thru though (although they better give a "undo" option for misclicks as this big ass panel could have you freaking out when under attack).Quote from "Kenzai" »Full screen, and a bit squeezed together?
A "undo" option imo is long overdue in Diablo.
QFT.Quote from "Shadout" »Blizz said it perfectly back at WWI, in Diablo all skills needs to feel overpowered, all active skills should be crazy enough to want trying them out. Then perfect balance is much less of an issue.
Anyone remember that skill that trails fire behind you or fire-enchant for a sorcy? Two totally garbage abilities they shouldve left out. -
May 12, 2009StoneOfJordan posted a message on Bashiok on "Skill Trees" in Diablo 3.Sounds to me like you would have alot of "fluff" skills on the outer circles.Posted in: News
Or you would have to jam in alot of mediocre passives. Can just see alot of unused skills to get to the center.
Suppose it could work but didn't blizz have that idea a while back and they dumped it? -

Diddo, just more pleasing to the eye but the same concept.
Whats TQ stand for btw?
EDIT: lol the second I hit save it hits me, titan quest. ive played the bloody game to! ><
EDITx2: The d3 skilltree is alot more similar to WOW except they arent seperate. I think TQ skill tree is more like d2 than anything. -

Yea I never said that, I kept on saying blizz will make it expensive/timeconsuming/difficult to do if they do include respecs in the final ver.
Reading all of the previous posts helps <3.

I could live with a small amount of charges so eventually the paladin (or whatever class) having a blast teleporting around will find himself out of gas and surrounded by angry monstas.
Muhahahaha.

Im letting this go.
Respecs have they're place because almighty blizz has decided so. Once again they haven't let me down in a video game and I doubt this will be any different.

To bad that women had to waddle out of McDonalds, im sure she was just upset she had to put down her McFlurry.

It is silly though, if you are the one buying pixels and code.

Anyways, can you atleast link me that TP url in a PM?

Why are you still whining?
I've made my point about why I dislike casualization. I know blizzard owes me nothing.
Doesn't mean I can't have a fucking opinion.

THEY OWE ME STARCRAFT GHOST, WAAAH.
Thanks for the free lecture, it was competley unneeded though.

QFT.
And what about the throwing weapons? I always aspired to making a thrower barbarian but truthfully they would be boring and suck at killing stuff anyway.
I've only seen one good thrower barbarian and he was still beaten (as far as I could tell) by a mediocre fury barb in DPS.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
*Planet erupts in a violent supernova.*
(Blizzard listened to our suggestions and made it a doomsday device.)
Airandius some valid points except making it purple would make it look straight outa DBZ or perhaps Teletubbies.
lewl, im sure that was a repeat comment as well. RAWR IRONY!

YAA LETS CUT THEYRE HEADS OFF!!
 love how some people think you should down the profanity in a setting of extreme violence / gore.

Im hoping im wrong and your wrong blood-doll, for the games sake.
(Dont relish the thought of navigating through toddlers who picked up the game because its on they're skill level. Yes I know they say it will be nice n difficult after the normal chapter but with these changes Im not 100% convinced of that.)

There will be tanks, your wrong about that. Check out Barbarians Juggernaut tree (not to mention the Death Proof passive[its like a ressurection ankh]).
Maybe it isn't like the Prot tree from WOW, but im grateful for that.
Not worried about singlebuffing 4 other people as that is easymode, just hope they make buffs last a long time.
