posted a message on Patch 2.4 means nothing, without abolition of paragon slavery

The point is that people think Paragon points is something everyone should have and easy to earn. That is not what a paragon point is. Your paragon level shows your dedication, power, and the way you spent time ingame. Nobody accepts your 300 paragon points for a 60GRift because, let's be honest, you won't even have two of the four main stats from offense finished. There is a huge difference between having + 700 mainstat and not having it. Having a high paragon level requires you to do stronger and harder GRifts, and people just want to do 60 GRifts like it was a normal rift, and that's not okay, because you're not dedicating yourself to the leaderboards, even. If you don't dedicate yourself, you won't get good at a game. The principle applies everywhere else.

posted a message on Kanai's Cube - What to expect

So, I am seeing it as a sort of crafting locale in which you'll have to travel the Ruins of Sescheron and enter the Tomb of the King to use it. Everytime I want to use it, you'll have to go there. I would actually like to see that. It would very well be an excellent way of making players work for the good stuff, not just get everything done while in-town. It is a very interesting mechanic, too. I'm going to love it, specially putting an In-Geom passive on a Fornace or a BK, or you can even put a Convention of the Elements passive on Focus or Restraint. Things like these give us so much more options, but I am sure there will be restrictions, too. Besides the "Only 1 Legendary trait per type or equipment", there must be something else. It would be too good to be just as simple as that, right?

posted a message on PATCH 2.3.0 PTR

That is actually a lie, as every PTR of every Blizzard game has had a server on Europe, which has its home in France, their European HQ. I did not have too many latency problems besides the fact that there were seven hour long queues in the 2.2 PTR.

The only thing I can complain about is that you have a very poor transmog on the Natalya's set.

posted a message on Speed GRifting with Raekors

I've been having alot of fun with In-Geom and Raekor's build, but I found it the most useful out of all the barb sets. Raekor's has the fastest movement speed boost, added with an ess of johan just makes it brutally sweet. I got to Speed GRift A 30s and a lot of 28s. The secret here is to use charge as your generator, and gangway sprint as your spender to activate focus and restraint. You'll be doing about 300mil to 450mil with the right gear non-ancient. What do you think of this combo wombo?

posted a message on Another Focus and Restraint Question

    Picture it this way:

You currently crit for 200 million. With those perfect crit chance and damage rings, you're able to reach the 240mil max. But if you put on your F/R combo, you're able to crit 450mil, which is 2.25 times what you did before.

posted a message on Stop the Spambots and Scammers.

I'd like to talk about how easy it seems that spambots register and post useless, space-consuming threads and spam people. Maybe a way could be arranged to stop this from happening? Maybe a registration confirmation email that had a code you'd have to type in a registration box, or something. Though not as effective as certain other methods like reality check and captchas, it could be a good start.

(Thank you for moving this thread to the right Sub-Forum!)

posted a message on Regarding Cold Damage on Delsere's Frozen Orb Build

First of all, I am currently using this build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzylUMiwxXs Thank you J Macc for doing it!

Now, to the point of this thread. I currently have a triumvirate with 89% damage increase on the orb, plus the 750% from the 6 piece bonus, added with 225% from F/R. I also got 20% on strongar Bracers, added with a 20.40% damageBane of the Trapped, and Bane of the Powerful with 20%.

I want to know how to improve the damage, other than getting a better triumvirate and weapon. What I really want to know is if Cold Damage % is really that important. Thanks in advance!

Okay, so I tried that a couple hours before you replied, but the site just wasn't loading. It was just a blank page. Well, I was at work, and now that I am home, I was able to get inside. I also already accepted your Battle.net FR. :D

posted a message on The Ups and Downs of new Torment Levels.

Xp, gold and MF are some things that casuals do take in consideration, as they do not dispose of the time to farm for goblins endlessly. Remember that this game isn't only for hardcore gamers. Even though not everybody has an ancient [item], that does means nothing. T6 is the place where you'll get your End game gear. Once you're done, you'll start getting more out of GRifts rather than T6 farming, and since the keys are basicaly free (Only costs time and a bit of gold for repairs here and there), the reward is improving gems and getting even higher.
