we knew this day would come guys... i just didnt think it would happen like this.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
ive made a small video of me playing very high end 0dog. old vanilla footage with cm wiz and pull in monk, less ias and high damage for exciting numbers...and added a special surprise at the end for you guys that i really hope will make you reconsider sticking around just "one more time"
i'll keep an eye on the forums and genuinely hope 0 dog survives this onslaught of player creativity but...idk what else to say.
its been real.

ive seen every possible game design video on diablo there is. other games as well. from sub conscious animation frames to let a player know an ability is activated, to idk just about everything. days worth of independent research. point is i know my shit. played diablo 2 for like 10 years. d3 since reslease 1.5k hours +Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
without free trading, idk i just have no words for what im gonna do.
glad to see the AH go. any type of bind, be it boa, boe, anything, will destroy a massive aspect of daiblo for me though.
if diablo was a pie chart, what would it look like for you? with the trading fraction of the pie missing, its looking really lame at the moment for me. all other aspects of ros seem great. im thrilled. but binding items in any form....all of my what. play self found if you want...dont force us???

no - think about it this way.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
right now i have ITEMS that allow me to use zombie wall with 0 cooldown. not the rune specifically, the skill itself. with enough cooldown redcution, i could IN THEORY reduce the cooldown for other runes (granted i can get enough seconds, 12 available through items) to zero, or really really close? i'd be overshooting the 10 second requirement of wall by 2. so whatever maximum reduction from cooldown stat would be, - 2 seconds FOR THAT SKILL - ALL runes. same idea behind 0 dog.
regardless, if we had enough cd reduc, this could open up rotation style builds - or even better - situational builds. i bet if you stack enough cd reduction you can get toad of hugeness to a pretty low cd. i think some fun could be had there. many runes for spells without cooldowns have unique, short cooldowns specifically. use 3 or 4 very short rotational cooldown skills that would otherwise be unused blah blah - thats the idea im looking for here.
as stated...spells with the longest cooldowns will still have the longest cooldown in your build, in relation x to y etc etc. not trying to break the game here, nor am i looking to eradicate cooldowns entirely. im just trying to think of new ways to play and design builds, im amazed at the people already trying to reject a simple theorycrafting thread.
i want to spam zombie nova. badly.

I bet if players show enough interest in it, they'd look into cdr efficiency.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

That's the idea shaggy. Sme items also reduce or remove the cost/cool down of items as well.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Blizzard is disgusting bro. Tinfoil hats are always right. Look at Warcraft... " trial of the crusader was an attempt to see if we could make raids with rehashed models and content" meanwhile they are too busy too do anything but glorify themselves in the form of "rare exciting blue posts"Quote from coffeerox
I don't ever expect anything tangible in return for beta testing. I'm happy that my feedback can be of use so that it does translate into new features/designs for the game. What I DO expect, is that Blizzard treat their players with respect and value expert and dedicated players above publicity and advertising. Allowing people like Athene and Kripparian into the friends and family beta just shows that they were more interested in reaching their audiences rather than obtaining valuable feedback from players such as myself. It's disgusting and Blizzard is the only company that I've EVER beta tested for, that's done that.Quote from eman41
Your first mistake was expecting something in return for beta testing. If you don't feel like it's a good use of your time, stop doing it, or try and get a job actually being paid to do QA.Quote from coffeeroxI just feel like they're taking, taking, taking, taking and not actually giving anything back, know what I'm saying? There's a limit to how much I can do for them with my time, FOR FREE, only to get slapped in the face and told I have to pay more money all while they celebrate their financial success and reward the wrong players for it. No other company treated me or the community this way and I have done closed beta's for essentially every company in the business (as for past few years, Valve, Square-Enix, Bethesda, Bioware, just to name a few).
I still beta test and I think it's a good use of my time for the games that I play. It's only Blizzard's games that I've had an aversion for. As for QA job, I'd like to do something like that but we don't have any gaming companies out here to QA for.
honestly it's gone too far

We've come full circle now. They made d3, a game that had just about nothing (at the core) that players wanted. And they didn't care. Game was based around items...no endgame. They slapped a big D3 on it and it sold millions. take a look at how many people actually play diablo today. "If you played 200 hours worth you got your money" we'll sorry to the mr expectations guy, but before you retort me as well, I was expecting to get a hell of a lot more gameplay than what I've got. I'm the kinda dude that's will play nightmare mode at max level to spam stupid spells for fun. At 1500ish hours played myself, I think I imagined that time to be spent other ways in game when I look back. Without the hype goggles.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
How do you make an expansion to a game, without changing the game? You can't. Expansion will not change or fix d3.
We need.....a new game not based on weapon dmg and items.... no trading, party of 4, uhhhhhh
we should just call this game "the expansion to blizzard arpg" because once against its not diablo at the CORE
