posted a message on Issue accessing Clan info

Same issue here, I am clan leader and often times applicants and other things show up as level 0 with a blank name, until I right click and inspect their profile, which doesn't always work. Also my clan displays as capped at 147 instead of 150, but Blizz support told me there are 150 members in my clan...

Sticking rune combinations into then to make them. The suspense of seeing how it rolls after you stick the runes into place. The fact that runewords harbored some of the most powerful and original / game play changing items. (Enigma for teleport, etc..). The fact that you get to choose your base, so superior or crude base items actually made a difference. Versatility of common runewords early on during the leveling process. Different runewords featured for different seasons, incentive to play season, and differentiating 1 season from another. The adding of interesting future runewords to help fill itmlemization gaps. Giving the player a feeling that they have collected all of the required items, and manually forging your runeword rather than just gambling or forging at the blacksmith. I can go on and on if you want me to.

I personally think instead of making people stronger they need to add in things from d2, that where IMHO awsome.

like rune words, those where sweet

Or legendary gems socketed into armor transform them or add special effects

I think there are already scifi games that approach this territory (Doom, etc), and it's weird to mix genres like this. The only thing that really changes is the setting and technology, so it seems like you just don't like the medieval setting, which is kind of integral to the game concept.

Actually, I cant think any scifi loot based isometric AAA level game. Borderlands milieu and style are different, though loot system is similar. Sure there are scifi games out there, but so there are fantasy games too. I mean why make Diablo 4 at all because I am sure we get soon new Elders Scroll or witcher game.
What comes to fantasy games. Well.. my all time top 5 games are:
    Diablo 2
    Baldurs Gate 2
    Fallout 2
    Vanilla WoW
Not sure about the fifth one, but Diablo 3 is on my for sure top-10.

I just think it would be nice concept to see Diablo lore, style and characters in milieu that is not so familiar to us all. But all the new and formula breaking is frightening to people. And never say that I dislike Diablos we have now, because I have spend some 2000 hours in Diablo 3 and still enjoying it. Diablo 2 was my only gate that I played from 2000 to 2006, so the hours there must be quite insane.

    Harbinger
    Space Hack
    Hellgate London
    Space Siege
    Drox Operative

I like your space game idea. They should make it where you start out at level 4000, find yourself crashed on an uncharted Diablo planet, and your objective is to devolve yourself to level 1, to become the true nephalim.

Does the secondary "thorns" go up as well?

Since they do between ancient and non-ancient, I assume they would follow the same trend between ancient and primal-ancient. Seems to be the case for most stats. Certain ones like cc, chd, as, cdr, resource cost, area dmg are still capped at their ordinary numbers. Primal thorns sader would be beastly with all that extra thorns damage.

They are making a first person Diablo game a-la Elder Scrolls style. You will be able to pvp in first person, kill the Uber Diablo raid boss, and have Deckard Cain identify your items in beautiful 1st person 4k.

Hi, I recently started receiving mails at my new apartment, and I am in need of a cool letter opener. Other than Slipka's Letter Opener being a totally useless Diablo 3 item, I would really love if you guys added this to your merchandise store. I would certainly buy it, and your item would no longer be useless. Think of the possibilities Blizzard, think of the $$$$!

posted a message on D3 following path of WoW?
    Quote from Drahquego-next

Seems like Diablo is following the path of World of Warcraft:
    - Becoming easier and easier within time
    - Made more accessible for casuals
    - Easier played by younger and younger ages

All the nerfs made and also every season all the buffs, makes it easier for everyone.

    Recent example:

    Slayer

    • Now requires Greater Rift 30 (down from 35).

    Champion

    • Now requires Greater Rift 40 (down from 50).
    • Normal rift timer increased to 7 minutes from 6 minutes.

    Destroyer

    • Now requires Greater Rift 50 (down from 60).

    Conqueror

    • Now requires Greater Rift 60 (down from 70).

    Guardian

    • Now requires Greater Rift 70 (down from 80).
    • Azmodan timer has been adjusted to 20 seconds (up from 15).

Torment XIII is definitely a step up from Torment X in regards to difficulty

Which not only is a nerf, but also together with the next seasons buff, is double up nerf, why do they not INCREASE the levels required each season, since the damage output is increases by every season, to equalize it. That's a question that really bugs me.

P.S. title was meant to say PATH, not patch.

While they are making the game easier, they are shifting the scale. There are going to be 3 more torments added, and probably more because 13 would be a strange number to stop at. Let's stop obsessing about the current state of the game and focus on the evolving product that the devs have in store for us. Ever since RoS launched, D3 has not been the 'what you see is what you get' game for longer than 3-4 months at a time. These changes that are making the game easier are not in fact making it easier (achievements maybe), just shifting the scale. T13 will be as hard as T10, greater rifts have no cap, so the change in achievement requirements barely changes the endgame at all, it just makes it faster for certain casual players to get things like portraits and stash tabs more easily. In my eyes, they are simply making the game more fun and appealing over all, and maybe this will bring some more desperately needed new players to make the servers more lively again.
