    yea dude. Ive done it a couple times on my ww barb and have taken out everyone in town. i run so fast, sometimes i desynch the server and kill mobs without them attacking me back. Its hella cheap though so i feel kinda guilty sometimes...

    Oh ok, I know what your talking about now. Yes, your right, and it is still very possible. This isnt really a legit "farcast" but i know what you mean.

    The method of rapidly switching weps to confuse the game is called dysnching. In order to achieve this you need a high ping. It is more common to see this happen with people who can run so fast that the game looses their location, then thats how you can pk in town and not show up on the radar. This can also be used to make a ranged weapon attack with melee. (maybe they fixed that now idk... I still see people doing this today(mainly glass cannon zons). Then you end up seeing arrows come out of nowhere and killing you.

    Sooo, all we know is that it doesnt have anything to do with the previous genres(starcraft, warcraft, diablo, lost vikings) as they said.

    The remaining possible themes are--- Steampunk, Real life(sims etc) , matrix, space related, some kind of fps mmo(past, present or future)...

    I'd like to see some of your guys's ideas.

    Dream is a runeword that can fit into polearms. This is one of the best weps for an A2 merc. Yes, it does answer your question from one standpoint.

    If you have or have not noticed, Blizzard has found a "backdoor" or "loophole" to get around the majority's opinion on their games graphics. Take WoW for instance, everything is cartoony, has cell shading, very few polygons etc) we all know by now(the game is 5 years old). Anyways, when blizzard creates their games, each game has its own unique style in graphics. They know that they cant compete with the other game that have cutting edge graphics, its obvious they put more time into the gameplay aspects of the game than visual effects; so they create their own style to keep the game from aging, and clearly its worked so far... everygame they have created is visually different from almost every other game. Blizz hasnt created any content that is visually groundbreaking; only mechanically. This example clearly shows that this process exists throughout all their games as they are still very popular... This is why it makes sense that it takes forever for them to produce games that are always addicting, some way or another groundbreaking with new concepts. They'd rather put more time into the user experience which is obviously more based off of game mechanics and concepts and not visual communication.

    FC is a mod that you download that edits client side files to make a melee attack or projectiles take straight damage. basically it removes the time and distance it takes for the projectile to travel to the target.

    sadly... its not detectable and it probably wont be till .13 patch...

    By editing these client side character and game mechanic files, ive seen some pretty jacked up effects. I remember a couple months ago, i was dueling this necro and he started using teeth, they were coming out so fast to the point where you couldnt see anything on your screen but the teeth spell. I figured this guy found out how to remove the cast rate cap so he could poor out his spells. it was pretty freaky. shit like that needs to be fixed asap cuz its still possible.


    Soo, technically its not a hack, its just a program that automatically edits client side files. When i think of a "hack" now adays, i think of code being injected into a string or a process.
