Really? The video/thread seems like it's to draw attention to yourself. Most people don't report broken skills with the words "world first." I'll remember to use that lingo any time I find a bug in the game from now on. You know... to draw attention to the skill.... not my YouTube channel.

Youtube channel has less than 30 subs. I really don't give a crap about subs. I don't ask for subs. 80% of my videos there are not stuff I post on threads and have under 100 views.

    So no.

Came by to say that Torment level 6 is insanely hard, I'm talking OG inferno hard. I don't think it's possible or at least not this early in beta.

It may very well be literally impossible, at least not able to be farmed efficiently, and they just put it there to make absolutely sure no one reaches the cap. But then again, we're 2 days in on this stuff, so obviously everyone's gear is very far from perfect. And Torment 6 will no doubt be designed for the biggest baddest min/maxers with the perfect cookie cutter builds.

Have you guys in the beta gotten much idea of how much higher DPS can get? How easy is it to find something that's in the top 80th percentile or so of possible DPS?

I'm attemping to push the limit, currently speed farming T6 for legendaries.

At present I'm at 2.5m dps and 20m EHP with 218 MF and I farm at least 30 legendaries an hour.

Not sure if the legendary pool after release is going to be way more varied than it is right now, because I keep constantly looting the same old legendaries.

    Quote from Mob_Dylan

Modz is streaming his invincible (literally) Crusader on Torment 6. This is why we have a beta to expose broken mechanics like he is exploiting right now. I'm sure there will much more.

Thats why we draw attention to it. Somehow or another, because if we don't, and stuff like these gets released the game goes to shit fast.

Tbh. The amazing thing I've seen so far on this thread is:

    1. People take everything way to seriously, it's a game, chill bro. I had fun playing it, and making videos of it,

    2. When this video was made, nobody knew what "OPlaserbeam" was.

    3. The thread title means absolutely nothing. I could have put "RoS is too easy" or "Blizzard, please increase difficulty of RoS". "World first" is just a means of attracting attention. I really don't give two shits about your opinion of what it constitutes. It achieves it's desired purpose.

    4. Hence: The video/thread is simply to draw attention to a broken skill. Nothing more, nothing less, sending feedback to blizzard could be one way of doing it. I prefer to let the public know about it and whinge about it so blizz notices that it exists from the horde of whiners posting stuff like "OP beam wtf, it does 80m damage" without even knowing what the skill actually does. Or what drives it being OP.

    5. It's enjoyable watching a good number of you argue rhetoric about a video game. T'was pretty amusing to watch.

It can't be helped really. Jealousy is part of the human condition.

I'm really not bothered about it that much to actually whinge about it.

This thread is embarrassing. Seriously, you really claim to have a World First in a game where almost no one cares about World Firsts; especially in Softcore. In addition, this is a beta and everything is subject to change respectively exists for testing; e.g. the Crusader class, Adria etc. Some skills are currently broken. It seems as if you have to compensate for something serious. My sincere condolences to you, Uberjager.

World Firsts matter in Diablo 3, but just when you do something really awesome that most people think would take a long time. Like I'll bet even hitting level 60 wasn't that impressive...but when they announced Paragon Levels and the first guy to hit Paragon Level 100 did that, I would call that a World First people...well...probably remember, ;-)

First MP10 Uber Clear might be one...first to get five Paragon 100s...First Paragon 1000.

But those are pretty big feats. I wouldn't call this video a feat.

Finding a way to beat the hardest content within less than a day of that said content coming out... I would consider it a feat.

Also first MP10 Uber clear also belongs to me and 3 others lol. (30 minutes into ubers update)

Grats on the boss kill, but as at least one other has said, boss kills aren't really the best measure in D3. They are predictable and you can easily just work out a routine. I'd love to see a video of someone going through RoS on T6 downing every champion mob. THAT to me is a testament of how good a player is, because it's as random as you can get in D3.

Thing is elites/champs in ROS are much easier than scripted boss fights. Main reason for it is because you can actually zerg them due to corpse respawn.

"Only" 1m dps for the hardest part of the game in the hardest mode? If that doesn't change, people will clear Torment VI day 1. Again.

And? The design goal behind Diablo is not presenting you with an difficulty impossible to tackle. This is not WoW, your end-game is focused on getting the best gear possible, not on progressing through difficult boss encounters.

Besides, the final difficulty is still in the works, they can always add more tiers to Torment difficulty before RoS goes live.

Additionally, there will be a ladder. The quality of the "end-game challenge" will be measured by those playing on ladder from scratch, not on those who will start RoS with 300 Paragon points and billions of gold.

The hardest difficulty is actually impossible.

    Read what I typed above.

Interesting, thanks. Thought enchanted affixes would get a differently colored bullet point.

So crafting some more amulets now might not be *that* useless after all. Let's see if you come across an upgrade at some point. But to be honest, that amulet must've been pretty awesome in vanilla, crafted hundreds of amulets and never seen one like that.

It had a much lower str roll.

Right now I've rerolled the ammy so that it has 469 str.

I don't think that's a RoS drop but an enchanted vanilla drop ;)

I thought the enchanted affix had a visible distinction?

I rerolled it's existing Str roll for a higher one.

I think items can still roll from 3 to 6 primary affixes. And after that is determined, then the affixes are rolled.

Also, is he using the supposedly "broken" Crusader skill (2nd rune for the Finger of God active)? Which instead of doing 3000% weapon damage over 5 seconds is doing it every second? If yes, that kinda takes away a little bit of the merit, doesn't it?

I say supposedly because I only heard that rumour... haven't seen it confirmed or anything. So take that with a grain of salt, pl0x.

    Yes. It's "that" broken skill.

But then again Adria and everything else on torment VI was designed to be impossible.

If you look at the video you scan see that Adria has 27 beez for HP.

    Quote from Solmyr77

    Several issues:

You can still freeze bosses. Wtf? To me that was a ludicrous oversight in vanilla. I'd go as far as saying that even champion mobs should be immune to that.

Health pool jumping down and up again. With life steal gone, how are melee classes supposed to beat such long encounters? They always take some damage by nature of their combat style. You can't just outlast such bosses.
The Crusader (in this vid) seems to have some kind of heal that gets him back to full. The Monk also has some kind of heal. How is the Barb supposed to do that? Will we be back to D3 1.00 when Barbs were unplayable and ranged characters could not take a single hit but beat the entire game regardless?

"Only" 1m dps for the hardest part of the game in the hardest mode? If that doesn't change, people will clear Torment VI day 1. Again.

I was getting heals from pots. Pots no longer heal fixed amounts but 60% of your total health.

As mentioned, it's an enchanted vanilla.

Trifectas rarely roll on RoS... and they can only hit close to vanilla values for trifectas on torment II++ drops.

posted a message on T> GG barb for equivalent DH/Monk set. Preferably DH.
I guess for barbs, there really isn't much to look forward to. Kudos to Nubtro and the rest of the barb theorycrafters we've done too good a job that there's no surprises left to be discovered in the class. Moving on to DH prolly, need to break down the class and see if there's anything to be done about their DPS complaints. (have already a pretty good idea on what kind of build to build for DH)

I intend to sell off my barb gear as a set if possible.

    Barb:
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Uberjager-6563/hero/25307580

Perfectly optimized and hits all dem breakpoints. Elites on Mp10 are about 15-25 seconds per pack.

Would be willing to trade for an equivilant dex/ DH/Monk set but we'll have to negotiate.

Looking for equivalent price trades. Not equivalent damage/stats. We barbs know you DH's can get more dps/ ehp per dollar than barbs. (no thanks to 2 socket manticore with an offhand)

Also, if you offer a set to my liking or you want to trade pieces that put you at a disadvantage in value vs value trades no fear, I can always top up with gold, or even RMAH (have about 170 on bnet balance)

Now i get it. if i kill something with palm, the sever proccs. that's the part i havn't grasp 'till now. thanks man!

    No problemo :3

so, let me get this straight:

#1: if my palmtarget is a demon and
#2: if i deliver the killingblow to it
then i will see a really big number that deals absolutly no damage at all to every mob around it - exept it has marked4death:grimreaper on it, then the whole clusterfuq of monsters will take 12% of this insanely high number?

    my questions are:
1 - the only usage for sever is his procc combined with m4d:gr - without it, every other (good) weapon would still be better?
2 - how well scales the procc, the palm and the reaper with %dps enhancers like zuni boots, tal rasha amu, inna's belt? exactly like the demon-boosts of tyraels might and the sever itself, or not that well?
3 - will the insane amoungh of sever-procc-dmg also trigger, if i tagged the mob but my mates deliver the killingblow?

all in all, it sounds really good. i will try it as soon as my time allows it.

Basically what happens is this. I cast EP on a mob A. When mob A dies it does damage to mob B based on its HP aye?

However if that damage kills mob B instead of merely damaging it, I multiply that kill damage to values as high as 2-3b on mob B.

M4D works this way, whatever damage that mob takes is dealt as an AOE in 20 yards. So therefore if the DH marks mob B, the effect will proc and you'll see a 20 yard wipe (very noticeable in large packs of trash)

Yes, % damage enhancers should add to EP damage as the damage dealt is physical. However, take note that you're still a driver monk. You need some degree of survivability and spirit regen to locate elites quickly.

I have considered Zunis/ Innas/ Tals. But the amount of EHP and spirit gen stats I'd have to drop will make this less optimal to run.
