    The adds get me nearly all the time. Have only made it to phase 3 once, most of the time I fail in phase 2, sometimes even in phase 1. Adds spawn on both sides, making it hard to run/survive without blowing a CD. I can take up to 3 unprotected hits with 38k dps, 28k hp and 600 resists (further adjustment of all 3 variables are possible).

    Edit: Can anyone give any practical suggestions/video/guide of add kiting? When adds spawn on both sides, other than blowing a CD there's nothing I seem to be able to do and they stream in faster than I can pick off, especially with Belial running around as well.

    Have trouble on Belial inferno. Have tried everything from 1000 resists to 60k hp and 40k dps. Can't reliably get past his first 2 phases.

    Requesting for advice/tips/youtube whatever from wizards who have successfully cleared him on inferno.

    Will also tip if anyone can take the time and help me through him.

    Playstyle is more important than FOTM. I'm a wizard lover and no matter what changes to the class i'll be there. If you enjoy your barb, sit back and farm a little(or a lot) for the necessary gear. Wizard get focus solely on dmg and die on the avaliability of their CDs and still progress. I'm confident once your barb gets enough gear you'll have a safer time with the same mobs than a wizard would as you don't need rely on your CDs to stay alive.

    A lot of analysis is still going into the mechanical formulaes. I would expect a well planned mix of armor, dodge and resistances along with hp and drain would make a juggernaut of a barb that does massive damage. Rares can have both the offensive and defensive stats you need but they aren't easy to find. I hear many barbs can safely clear act 1 inferno, farm up SK, spidey or butcher with +5 valor and you'll have a good chance at rares.

    engage only with diamond skin, recast hydra to stop its dmg if your potion or templar heal is on CD and the dmg exceeds your regn.

    I have gotten the first tier of inferno gear in Act 1 inferno so it is definately possible.

    Getting rares is a different thing.

    1. Farm chests with high MF
    2. Grind out Nephalem Valor +5 and do a boss (eg. Skeleton King, Maghda, Spider Queen, Butcher). The buff increases the item quantity as well, making this one of the most profitable ways to farm

    I often clear the way to a boss, dragging unkilling champion packs to an obscure corner if need be, then go farm valor till +5. After which stack as much MF as you can safely stack. Bosses are generally easier than champions so you can get away some MF gear.

    At about 180MF i've gotten as many as 6 rares 7 blues from a single boss kill. You can't control the mods but you can increase the number of items and the chances of them beings rares.

    As of this very minute (US servers are up), I am cutting through Act 2 inferno with ease using force armor. No changes. Take of that what you will.

    With regards to rumours, I wouldn't put any faith in anything less than official patch notes.

    Its not just the buff but what it spawns on, on naturally fast mobs or mobs that have natural teleport/blink/invisible, extra fast is lethal. On mobs that naturally run from the player, fire chains/mortar is very bad. On mobs that naturally have the ability to make fire on the ground, waller/vortex/nightmare/jailer can help them land their natural fire ability

    I like that 9.2k dps L56 wizard earlier. Gear makes a world of difference, i'm L54 and around 4k. Really need those drops....

    item prices do change though, just like gold. The value of commodities be they salvage mats or gold are not set in stone.
