posted a message on Getting new mouse for D3.. need some advice
Don't bother with the branded "gaming mice" they are insanely overpriced (they just slap the word "gaming" on it so it costs more). If you want an excellent, mid-priced mouse for gaming (especially Diablo 3) go with a Logitech G400. For the money it costs it is really a killer deal, it is very reliable, sturdy, made for intense clicking has DPI switching, and as most do 2 side buttons. Also the scroll wheel isn't the "free spin" kind, it clicks so it's even suitable for FPS games or other that require precise scrolling.

Also don't get laser mice, those things blow out from something so small as a power outage. You'll practically pay more for something that is less reliable and accuracy wise almost doesn't even differ from a optical mouse. I've had one "gaming" mouse myself, and it blew out after a power outage. I could just throw it out the window after that, couldn't be fixed. And now having the Logitech G400 I couldn't be happier with my mouse!

Really want one but can't afford one right now and I think I read somewhere that they are already sold out.
Mainly I want it because it's a revolutionary card for those who game in 3D. Normally 3D mode takes half your normal FPS, but this card seems to mostly perform on par, sometimes even better, rarely a bit worse in 3D mode. When I first read that my jaw broke. Really making me want one.

posted a message on Anyone else getting a new PC for Diablo 3?
I too am scratching cash to build a new rig. This one is just too old, 6 years is enough for this PC to retire. Trying to make the new one as future-proof as I can afford. Still can't decide on a few things. Like videocard (6870 or 560 TI) or CPU (Already have i5 2400 wondering if I should sell it since it's new to get a i5 2500k). Also I'm on a 3D monitor, so I will be enjoying Diablo III in glorious III D.

Yea, it's normally in the mailbox at release day here, or sometimes even a day or two earlier.
Great feeling when you get it even earlier, isn't it?

was surprised by the high price too. ordered mine from amazon uk, costs just under 39 pounds with shipping to germany; thats about 47€ according to yahoo currency calculator.

And then you have to wait 5-7 days until the game arrives :D
Actually most sites receive the games early, send them out early and fix it up with the post office to hold it until release day, that's when the recipient can go to the post office and collect it. (or have it in their mail-box, depends where you live) I've pre-ordered with game.co.uk before and that's exactly how it worked, I received the pre-ordered game day 1 when it was released.

posted a message on Radeon HD 5550 or Nvidia GTX 460?

That is a load of waffle. A regular GTX 560 doesn't stand a chance to a GTX 560 TI. TI versions are always immensely better performance wise. A regular GTX 560 is pretty crappy in it's price range, to be honest.
The difference ain't that huge between a regular and a TI version, more like 10-15%
Can check some quick numbers here:
    http://www.anandtech...tom-overclock/9

But yeah, I would ofc. go for the TI, or throw in a few more bucks and get the GTX570.
You're not taking in account a few things.
    http://www.hardware-...-february-2012/
    Quoting from the site:
Best Video Card for $180-200: None

While you can pick up a Geforce GTX 560 starting at $180-190, I don’t recommend it, seeing as it performs on par with the much less expensive Radeon HD 6870 recommended above.

    Gefore GTX 560 TI 1GB

    Competition:

Simply put, the $210 Geforce GTX 560 Ti doesn’t have much competition at this price point:
    - It outperforms the $175 Radeon HD 6870.
    - As for the Radeon HD 6950, which outperforms the GTX 560 Ti, it starts at $258, $48 more.
So why are you recommending the Geforce GTX 560?

Well, the Geforce GTX 560 Ti isn’t that far behind the Radeon HD 6950 and costs $30 less, making it a good choice if your budget is closer to $200 than $250.
Also, the Geforce GTX 560 Ti has a reputation for being a card with a lot of overclocking potential and this particular Gigabyte card, with its dual fan cooling system, has enough cooling to accommodate quite a bit of overclocking without sounding like a turbo jet.
This card will run pretty much any game at 1920 x 1080, including Crysis Warhead (At Gamer overall settings, with some Enthusiast settings) and other demanding games, with less or more AA/AF, depending on the game.

those mother effers are loud when the fans like 70%, but damn they work nice.

I just switched my HD 5770 for a GTX 560 TI. The Difference is huge, and it works incredibly good.
. Also on the subject is it worth it buying the TI version? From what I read it just stands for titanium, but as far as performance isn't much better than the standard version.

posted a message on Will Wizard's farm rate dominate the rest of us?
I'll agree with the portion of other posters that due to the rune system I think each class will have a good AOE damage skill. Meaning any can be just as good for MFing. Tho they have said before that in later difficulties you really will have to find that perfect balance between armor and MF because you will want to get items BUT you will also want to stay alive. Can't really get items if you just keep dying, eh? I'm quite keen on seeing how this will play out because they've got me quite interested about the later difficulties since they seem to really try and make the game more difficult than D2 was (at least that's the impression I got). One reason I still can't fully understand - Why keep immunities? To be honest that killed off a lot of characters in later difficulties in D2, won't that be the same mistake with D3? With that a lot a of MF chars died out as well because they just couldn't compete.
