So I guess that makes you a masochist? What other purpose could this asinine thread (and new bulletin to boot!) serve than to incite this garbage? What possible good could this have for this site or its community? I think a site admins need to have a little "heart to heart" with certain staff members around here. WTF is the matter with you?

And finally, who the hell gives a shit about what Adam Sessler has to say about anything?

    Congratulations!

The staff members are posting news pertaining to diablo 3, just becuase they didn't post something that you agree with, doesn't mean the news is garbage.

And if I don't give a shit about Adam Sesslers opinion on this game, I sure as hell don't give a FUCK what some rand in his moms basement (you) has to say about this game.

What in the Hells Kwic, why dont you have the edit button???

    I still do... :P

You could try reloading the page or something.

    On-Topic:

It doesnt matter how 'old' those arguments are because people still dont seem to understand. Thus reposting them is good sometimes.

There very well IS WoW (or WC) influence in the greaphics of D3. You cant deny the fact that the models in the previous games were better in some way.
Actually they even kind of admitted some WoW influence, but unfortunately not in which aspect so it cant be used as proof for anything.

Also i think some people here have problems with understanding 'examples' or 'comparisons' properly. While the first person just said "Would you be happy if D3 had good gameplay and Pokemon graphics?", the second person is saying that D3 graphics arent like Pokemon.

BTW you kind of admit that D3 is cartoony when sayin "D3 isnt as cartoony as Pokemon."

(Im starting starting to think that your English is not very good because of your writing but maybe you wrote in a hurry. "... same level of cartoony that Pokemon uses." What in the Hells?)

Sorry for the OT parts of my post.

Blizzard doesn't really care, people are leaving the "omg it d3 has cartoony WOW graphics" side by the droves, why continue? I'm not saying you should quit or anything, I just wanna know why you continue to try and persuade people, seems a little futile at the moment.

    Pretty fast?

    More like really fast.

    Faster then ludacris speed.

So pretty much, seeing as how many people are rushing to see more of diablo 3, they will be forced to show us some character classes, and some more game play videos.:D

k, I never post, but people seem to miss the point he's trying to make.

The point is: In D2, everyone was always spamming pots.

To be able to raise the difficulty of the game the monsters you met HAD to kill you in one or two shots (or iron maiden or whatever) or your pot-factory would bring you instantly back to full health within a sec.

With less pot-spamming, they don't have to make the monsters as strong to make the game equally challenging.

Instead of having to insta-kill you , they can make you suffer, but still have a possibility of reacting and make a great comeback.

    suffering doesn't sound fun:confused::D

and if you get to the point where you are low, get better at the game noob

I don't care how gg your gear is, or how skilled you are, SHIT HAPPENS, Iron maiden kills your merc and all of a sudden your getting surrounded by mobs of enemies and you cant tele away becuase your locked but oh noes no pots and bam you die. That doesn't sound fun to me at all in the least bit, but who knows, we haven't played the game so we cant really say anything just yet.:D

if you are a sorc you shouldn't be in the middle of people, you should be behind the barb that is tanking

And if your magic finding by yourself and you accidentally teleport (assuming there are still sorceresses) into a large group of enemies that stun you when they attack?

if blizzard saw it as a problem they would go back to potion spamming, but I for one am glad I can focus on hitting left and right mouse button w/o tapping 1 2 3 4

My idea where you can either choose to use potions or "orbs" will make everyone happy. People more used to the old way will stick with potions, and people who are new or want to try something different, might want to try the "orb" method.

I can't imagine fight without potions, but will see. But it wasn't so easy even you had the potions. Sometimes monster was so strong that it had you for 2 shots, and you were dead. I liked potions ;)

For once, something I can agree with you on. Yea yea, these "orbs" will test your skills, but in actuality, these "orbs" are just instant forms of health potions. Instead of pressing buttons 1-4 to activate a health potion, now all u do is walk on this large floating red orb (pretty unrealistic even for a game based of fantasy) and your health is restored. How is simplifying something adding more of a test of skill?

I think we should have the option to either be dependent on health globes or pots, new users might wander towards health globes, while players who have been playing the game for since its begging, might lean more towards "spamming" pots.

I just hope they get it so I'm not dieing becuase the randomizer didn't drop a globe in time and i get over ran by a horde of monsters.

posted a message on Gem on homepage of Diablo site
We all know about the chat gem in the diablo 2 chat area, but has anyone found out about the chat gem on diablo3.com?

    [img=http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/2970/95068355oy8.th.png]

If you click on the gem, it glows just like the one in diablo 2.

Attempts to try and figure out what it does

    1. I clicked it so it was glowing, then scrolled my mouse all over the screen to see if any hidden image would pop up.
    2. Opened diablo 2, clicked its chat gem, then clicked diablo3.com's chat gem to see if something would happen if they were both activated.
Not sure if this has been posted yet, and not sure if I'm just retarded and it does something obvious and simple,^_^I would just like some feed back so I can convince myself that I have not gone completely nuts.

Nothing against a holy warrior of some sort, I just hate the paladin. For no apparent reason really. I hated the way he runs, he looked ridiculous. Yeah, the reason for hating him is even more ridiculous but still... lol :) It's the only character I didn't enjoy playing with.
He always seemed unnecessary to me.

Almost every paladin build was imba, and I loved every minute of it. Lets hope they bring the pally back, and keep his imba status.
