I forget which Blizz rep said it(maybe Bashiok?), but they stated a while back when the whole Console thing was brought up that if they did decide to make a console version that it would not interfere with the release of the PC version.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

A shared stash would be great for moving items between characters within ones own account. However, Blizzard still needs to come up with an easy way to trade items(delivery of items and searching for items). In a recent tweet by Blizzard they mentioned that they have yet to start any concept on a shared stash. My guess is that they are working on something else that will handle moving items between characters.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I would say a mailing system such as that in WoW would be a good temporary solution until a shared stash is implemented. You could mail items to your own characters and also mail to characters not on your account which would be an easier way to trade with people.
The only thing this leaves out is actually searching for the items you want. If Blizzard implements an auction house that then uses the mailing system when you buy/win the bid on an item, then the use of a shared stash is kinda moot. Of course a mailing system is not great for moving a bulk amount of items, but then again who is going to be doing that right when D3 comes out?

My guess is that the ladder system is going to be replaced by an Achievement system(not sure how it will work). So instead of resetting a ladder, they might add new achievements or reset certain achievements for players to do. These achievements would be tied to items that you can get only when you have completed them.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I've been playing Torchlight recently and all I can really say is that it brings back a little nostalgia of D2 for me. But that is about it. Its like a graphically updated version of D2 and D1 combined. If you go to town the music there is very(and I mean very) similar to Tristram from D1.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I do have to say I am enjoying running through the game though. I only play around 2 hours every other day, if that, and I tend to swap between the 3 classes a bunch trying to go through the game with all 3 at the same time. I have a really good feeling that once I run through the game 1 time I will not be playing it again. So I am getting as much out of it as possible.
If you got it on Steam for $5 like I did then it is well worth it. Just don't expect a game that will allow for replayability.

I voted for the Barbarian. I don't find the WD all that fascinating. I voted against the WD in every poll the WD has been in so far. I am not a big fan of that kind of play style I guess.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I really like the Diablo lore, if they don't come out with audiobooks soon I might have to make some time for to read atleast the Sin War trilogy before D3 comes out.Posted in: Lore & Storyline

Does anyone know if there are plans to turn these books into Audiobooks? I saw a World of Warcraft book the other day on audible.com which I had not previously seen. I like to listen to books while I drive and was wondering if anyone has heard anything.Posted in: Lore & Storyline

Armor set pieces should be weaker then their Unique counterpart individually. However when you get the bonus from having multiple pieces of that set, they should equal the unique items.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
This will allow for diversity in item choices. Uniques and Rares should be very powerful by themselves but sets should have the ability to be as powerful except in a different kind of way by having to wear the multiple pieces.
I also think there should be some Sets that scale with level. One thing I really hated in D2 was that you would find a shitty low level set piece when you are level 60+. I haven't payed D2 in so long, but that's how I remember it being.
