I'm on PTR, and just yet I wanted to craft some Cain's pants and somehow I kept getting lvl 23 pants, 10 times in a row... That could not be coincidence now could it..?
Anyone having the same problemen? Haven't tested it with other crafting items yet.
Can somebody help me out? I can't decide wether to use Incr. Locust Swarm damage or Incr. Haunt damage on my Shoulders and Chest...
I currently have LS, because I am using Wormwood which is constantly swarming and with the Pestilence rune it is (literally) all over the place within seconds...
But, (if I do my maths right) Haunt is a WAY better option because it benefits more from the 30% incr since the damage of Haunt is higher (LS = 1040/100*30=312, Haunt = 4000/100*30=1200).
BUT, you have to cast Haunt constantly and it only affects one mob so you have to spam it several times on different mobs to spread it.
What do you guys think is a better option? Opinions/experiences please!
However, some of the questions you raise are not just armor vs all resist but rather mitigation versus life... which is a different story. But if you're purely thinking about those two stats, use the calculator.
What would be better for a Barb who's currently progressing from Grift 46?
Cause I always used Diamonds in my armor and pants, and my Resists were around ±1000. Then I found my Ancient IK 2h and I replaced my Diamonds in my pants with Ruby's.
Then I did another 40'ish (I don't exactly remember) Grift and somehow this went WAY better defensively.
So then I also switched the Diamonds in my armor piece for Ruby's and it went even better.
I also rerolled some %-life stats on my gear pieces to Armor (since I was still around 700-800'ish life) and it just got better and better...
Basically Ruby gems (plain ARMOR gains) went way better defensively as Diamonds did... But can somebody explain me the reason why I should use Diamond gems?
Or even get the all reist stat? What would benefit a Barbarian more? And what would be the ideal range of all resists?
Sorry if this is a noob question, normally I'm not really into Barbarians.
When you run greater rifts, meaning 44+, convention is better, especially because you gonna leave most of the yellow packs behind.
If yoa wanna t6 speedfarm i suggest you use soj for that, so that you oneshot everything.
I wonder if it worth switching between my 2 rings (as pictured in starting post), because I already oneshot everything pretty much in T6 cause of the great roll of CoE.
If I switch to my SoJ, I'll lose 13,9% damage xD But hell, i'll give it a try.

Here's my BN page: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Milo-2868/hero/58750282 (currently shows with BK weapons and Avarice band and such for T6 farming).

I'm currently running a 6WW-4IK Whirlrend build on my Seasonal Barb.
I've found a CoE ring pretty fast, and a nice one as well. But a few days ago I also found a very nice SoJ.
So my question now: Which ring will be better?
Stats are:
