Sad... just sad. I started playing Grim Dawn at the release, and it just proves all the wrongs Blizzard has done to this title... Yeah, they have also about 5 tiers for gear, but it is done right. some low tiers can out perform higher tiers for instance. they are just rare cases.
It's too demanding to attack white mob with 3 (fire) skills to get a petty stack which will shortly fall as the mob dies before you manage to ignite more.
It is only viable when an Elite is ignited AND you are near it(!). And even then, the damage is not there to compete with other sets.
The FB set doesn't have non-set items to complement it. Almost all of the items we got can synergize much better with other sets who give more dmg multiplier.
TL;DR: 3 skills to ignite is a no no; they have to be fire runes is a no no. At the peak (Elite is burning) it can deliver 2400% increased damage - meh... Step a bit away from the mob/elite - say buhbye to dmg...
I am not speaking of the DoT... it's crap. I'd rather have some cool new mechanism to some fire skill instead of this.
I (Xymox#2935) am looking for a clan with active members playing non-season. Currently I am paragon 700+ and I main a Wizard. I don't mind if the clan is only 300+ paragon. I am fine with any sort of playing, be it T6 speedfarms or High Grifts (50+).
I noticed there are many people like me, who would rather play NS (whatever the reason is), but they all have 0 replies, meaning there are no NS clans actively looking for recruits.
So, If enough people will reply we just might all form ourselves an NS clan.
I would suggest Crowd Control to stop those nasty melee at bay - use blizzard with the freezing rune. always place a blizzard in front of you and on you if you misfire and they catch you, then teleport away and blast them.
I wouldn't waste money on an SSD regarding/concerning Diablo only. If you get one, put windows on it and not games. it won't help Diablo anyhow, maybe for loading screens, but it's a waste of money imo. Put the money into GPU or CPU instead. What's the resolution you are playing or plan to play with?
Waste of money? Rofl. SSD is THE biggest upgrade you can get for Diablo 3 specifically. It's a game for which the SSD helps immensely. Not just for MUCH faster loading of maps (instant as opposed to ~2 sec when you use WP/ TP), but it also helps with the framerate drops when too much stuff is on the screen.
Plus it also makes your entire PC lightning-fast compared to HDD's. Once you try SSD, you don't go back. I'd go as far as to say it's the most crucial PC component for me since I bought my first one - it generally makes a world of difference.

He probably wants to use what he will use on NS live. I did it too as I don't want to be fooled by ransor. it's an amazing piece that changes playstyle. I want to practice the playstyle i'll use on NS though, so i too use strongarms + BH...
