i get the splash that simply says "you must install diablo II before installing diablo II LOD
if you have already installed diablo II please conact tech support.

under options i can navigate to technical information and previews
under technical information i can navigate to install dx7 and contact blizzard.

the contact blizzard just gives me their website address.

grrr.

yeah, i just created a char and was able to connect to bnet and all the rest

i didn't get an option for which install i wanted to do - it was just an install option. i'm going to uninstall and reinstall. thanks for the help

i never changed the directory - installed it to the default directory and inserted LOD without changing anything...

Hi, i just bought the D2 games again after years of not playing. They were part of the bestseller series. I installed normal D2 without any problems and went onto the D2 LOD disc - when inserted it told me that D2 wasn't installed and i should contact technical support. i tried that but got a grats, you broke it page.

i searched google a while but couldn't find any solution except for downloading the full version (which isn't an option for me due to only having limited interent cap available).

Please advise if you have another solution to this rather frustrating problem.
