I hope the Barb gets this skill:
Rupture - the Barb swings his weapon (like in Cleave) striking nearby enemies with such force that their bodies become ruptured, and bleed whenever they move. Deals damage based on distance that the monsters travel.
So the Barb could charge into a group of monsters, Rupture a couple of times, then leap out, and watch all the monster die as they try to come at him, lol.
Pro - good damage, Con - bad on zombies and other slow moving creatures

Nice skill idea, don´t remember seeing anything like this in any game. This idea could possibly be polished but sounds cool. A+

But yeah, ranged attacks also seem to be a nice addition to the barbarian.

Then he has to me the projectile, or at least follow quickly behind. But wait, you could make a trowing Barb in D2... anyone tried that?

I really don't mind the lack of playable Necro in D3. Just like I didn't take offense to the lack of a playable Warrior, Sorcerer, or Rogue in D2. They're changing things up to make it versatile and fun, and I trust them.

    Could not agree more.

I´m not sure if it is replay value... is it not just that you were making mistakes alot and therefor you had to make new toons. The same thing goes for the old skill tree. I´m really interested in seeing how Blizzard is gonna address these two issues.

But either way its gonna be great :P

I will probably buy it no matter what. Bad reviews, monthly Fee or what ever... I´m gonna have to try it out. And I´m also 99% sure it will be a winner.

I totally agree with you guys, I have full confidence in Blizzard and I´m pretty sure that they will do a magnificent job with Diablo3.

Trading out the Necromancer for the Witch Doctor, has been talked about much. For my parts that is just a natural thing, they really cant be expected to keep all the old Diablo2 classes because it is the favorite of someone. From what I´ve seen in the gameplay video the Doctor is going to have a great potential, and could possibly become my favorite.

I´m pleased about the look Diablo( if it really is him) has taken and also many of the drawings I saw in the Concept Art video, I sense that the whole atmosphere is going to become a lot darker and sinister, that is what Diablo is all about.

About the rest of the Classes. I think that we will see the same formula as in Diablo2, that being said, we should be seeing a Shield and Board guy, a Wizard, and a ranged class.
Just from the top of my head I think of a Holy man from Zakarum, a Horadrim, and some kind of a Hunter with an animal companion perhaps. Forgive me if that is just out of order I´m not that great in Diablo lore, but rest a sure I have the Sin Wars Trilogy arriving soon for reading untill D3 arrives.

The biggest issue for me concerning this game is possibly the Talent/skill Trees, there are so many dangers/pits in D2 related to the skill trees. You really have to create a lot of characters and do a lot of mistakes before you have any chance in the later stages of the game. There are very many totally crap skills and others that become crap at later stages. How could this be addressed, if it should? Possible relearning of skills? Fewer skills and less skills that are really bad? Should skills have 20 slots? Any Ideas?

How far do you think this game is in production? At first I thought not far, but after seeing one video of some Executive at Blizzard he said that All the classes where ready and all that was left was like putting the content to gather... what are your thoughts?
