You may not choose the ads, but Blizzard can choose to remove your link from thier official Diablo 3 website, or not give you any fansite appreciation exclusives if they don't like those ads.
Auction house?? with 5-10 people in 1 server that is kind of useless. seriously think before you post.
edit-- And also, i strongly doubt that blizzard would make a hub where all players join a server that's for AH.....
Seroiusly, think, as you say, it can be done in a menu form on battle.net, it does not have to be in game.
An auction house would be a double edged sword. On one hand it would be detrimental to player interaction outside the friends you normally play with. Which for some may not be a bad thing, others it's what they look forward to. On the other hand, it would be a good thing as it would give gold actual value, and in doing that, spark an actualy thriving economy.
As for my opinion I think I would not like it, as it would detract from the fun of finding the items yourself.
I agree. Please no BoP or BoE, Blizzard. I have had this in the back of my mind since the announcement of D3.
It is one reason I did not like world of warcraft. Besides the fact there is hardly any loot satisfaction in world of warcraft from general mobs. Unless you like claws, snouts and livers.
I built this rig years ago, 4 1/2 years I think. I will be buying a new machine for Diablo III. Once I see the system specs on the official website I am going to buy an iMac based on that.
I am 38. I played with many younger players (note I did not say kids), and for the most part I could not tell how old they were. They played with a mature attitude. I have also been in guilds for older players only (no offense to anyone, but adults do generally like to know they are around adults for some reason), and it was filled with ridiculous drama and power struggles.
In a nutshell, I just play with the people who play with maturity and show signs of fair play and the ability to share and use teamwork. I really don't care how old a player is, unless I am buying the beer.
You don't look like the kind of person who posts on DiabloFans.com
Really? I was 26 when the first Diablo launched. 12 years can be hard on a guy :P.
And all kinds of people play this game.
I ran a guild for the first diablo for the longest time, but i never really had time for diablo2, so now I am correcting that error.
