My favorite part about D1 was getting so deep into the game, the rest of the world seem to fade away. I was digging through the dugeons searching this cursed pit for loot and experiance... I think between this and D2 is the most I've ever got involved in a game.

thats great lol, I had a copy of Diablo 2 that blew up in my cd rom as well...

The butcher was fun... the most fun was going and trying to get him trapped behind a door so you can shoot him with a bow and never die lol.

As I'm sure you know, there are many 3rd party diablo exe files you could use instead. And since the game is updated so rarely, you could just get one of those...

Diablo 1 got my vote simply because it set the stage for the other game(s). It introduced us to the story line and did a damn good job!

I don't agree, I feel that a D3 movie could introduce D to a wider range of people, increasing sales. If you consider for a moment, everyone who has already enjoyed the spoils of D1 and D2, do you think a bad D movie would stop them from playing D3? I don't!

Diablo 3 is bound to take alot of ideas from WOW. I mean, all of you can say what you want about WOW, but its the highest subscribed MMO known to man... why not take some of the popular features from the game.

I agree that mantaining part of what made diablo, diablo is important. But I dont believe that an inventory system is nessarilarly one of those things that are so crucial to the gameplay that it would matter to me on if I played this game.
