I'm incredibly happy about this, been wanting a proper paladin-class forever - Monk just didn't do it for me, but this... this will be GLORIOUS! ( <3 Kormac )

I like this Tyrael theory, might just be plausible after all. We'll see. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

This is Deckard Cain.
He also says it himself in his "Greetings" rap, found here, with the line: "I look like Patrick Steward, and sound like Sean Connery."

She's pretty much the only character from Tristram (except Cain ofcourse) who's believed to still be alive, and survived the onslaught.

All it does is describing the Gameplay-video, OBVIOUSLY without the commentary, sound or something. The Witch Doctor refered to as a shaman, that kills his enemies with.. bees?

Yes, the warrior is the canon hero (easily seen in the cinematics of D2), as both the Rogue and the Sorceror are "bosses" in Diablo 2.

I doubt it, although it's a bit curious. I can't seem to remember what happened to the "original" Bartuc, but Baal could very likely have resurrected him, somehow. Either that, or it's a coincidence in the same way as Hakkar in the Warcraft Universe (being both Hakkar, the Houndmaster - in the Burning Legion, and Hakkar, the Soulflayer - troll god).

It was merely the "most important" stuff I had to get off my head

Cain's apprentice, (grand-)daughter or *shudder* lover-thing.
The theory I'll keep on believing is that the girl (who's most likely this "Leah") is Adria's daughter. Why? She seemingly has the age for it, seemed schooled in the arts of a witch, and Adria - besides Cain - were probably the only survivors of Tristram after our hero re-emerged from the Cathedral. She's likely Cain's apprentice too, or she's just working with him, or met him when he returned to New Tristram.
Again; more thought-through theories please.
