I want it to say "Not even death can save you from me!" whenever I click play.
That, or Diablo's laugh from the Diablo I installer. That was awesome :)

At the very least, I doesn't seem to give any direct implications - so the given explanation (if you'd want to call it that) probably holds completely true: Realizing your true potential.

Pretty bad, considering it's right before the final exams for this semester...
    Exact same thing for me.

... only, I study Game Design, so I can tricky my silly brain into thinking it's relevant during these exams. Yeah, I'm a genious :P

He was in Diablo II's Tristram as a Zombie.

So, even if it is him, it's quite doubtful that he was alive at the point when that picture was... erh... taken. If it even is him, that is.

The more of the game I got unspoiled at release, the happier I'll be, really. The current content is fine to test the basics :)

What exactly is stupid about the ability to test one more quarter of act 1? Certainly the testers that have put in alot of time here could use a bit of a change of pace inside the beta. Having said that, I agree the odds are very low.
I hope you meant to quote Rs10, because this makes absolutely no sense in context :P

While I wouldn't really bother that much, I noticed the portal-thing as well.

A better approach would perhaps be not having the portal closing when you first use it (I mean, it's wide open in town anyway). That would leave you with the thought of "Alright, it's still open, they simply followed me through the portal.". I'd be completely fine with that.

posted a message on Thoughts on the Witch Doctor (Minor Spoilers I guess)
I think it helps quite a bit to perceive Necromancers outside the "traditional" perception of what a necromancer is. I never really thought of them as Warlocks as traditional fantasy does, but more like how it's described with the "Abhorsen" books.

I havn't really gotten much into Witch Doctors yet, except for the Umbaru-connection to the Goatmen (which I'm sure we'll hear more about over the course of the D3 story), but the whole balance of things seems to be a recurring theme for the current heroes - the monk talks quite a bit about it as well. However, this is only really their "goal", not really their powers. Then again, there's a lot of general "balance"-thing going on in the Diablo universe after the whole Nephalem-thing got elaborated.

TL;DR: I have no clue whether or not Witch Doctors are "magically-related" to Necromancers. Both options have merit, really.

posted a message on DiabloFans Calculator Build Contest (ONE POST ONLY)
    Build-link:
    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#QZXjbR!ZYd!baaacZ

    Active Skills:
    • Way of the Hundred Fists - Fists of Fury (Left)
    • Dashing Strike - Way of the Falling Star (Right)
    • Breath of Heaven - Circle of Scorn
    • Mantra of Conviction - Overawe
    • Deadly Reach - Foresight
    • Cyclone Strike - Implosion
Might consider rearranging 1-4, but that's too early to say

    Passives:
    • The Guardian's Path (Using Diabos)
    • Transcendence
    • Exalted Soul
    Why?
Solo-build that gives a good amount of solid damage (mostly based on AoE, but works single-target as well). It does so by weakening the enemies to Holy Damage, keeping them tight, and then blowing them to bits with AoE Holy Spells, while keeping the Monk alive by healing on spending it (either as more healing, or more solid AoE damage) through Ascendence. Exalted Soul ensures that Spirit can be built up and saved for more critical moments.

At the same time, the combination of Deadly Reach and Dashing Strike, makes it possible to stay at a distance and dip in and out of tight combat-situations.
Additionally, Deadly Reach can also be used to build up bonus damage before joining the fray.

Looking forward to seeing if it works as well in practice as it sounds like in theory. :monk:

    And the heavens trembled...

You know how it went at that first picture anyway. Still, I'd imagine a slightly longer bit, rather than simply a short catchphrase. Then again, at this point, I'm sure a short one would be the most effective. :)

I like this Tyrael theory, might just be plausible after all. We'll see.
